I see bitfury just finished their 28nm chips, but there is no talk about miners or selling miners. Are they another KNC type where they no longer sell miners directly?

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Under development Modular UPGRADEABLE Miner (MUM). Looking for investors.
Changing one PCB with screwdriver and you have brand new miner in hand... Plug&Play, scalable from one module to thousands.

No!  They are the first original bastards to make that statement.  Shame on you Bitfury.  I believe they still sell to large farms though.

If you believe Bitfury, it seems like we can thank the countless noobs trying to mine in 2013-2014 who had no business doing so for their decision.

AFAIK bitfury is at the limits of funding - have heard little or nothing about their franchising over the last few months. I think their 28nm chip is not ready (by delay or failure?)

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461
No longer a wannabe - now an ASIC owner!

Bitfury is not going to be for individuals.  They have been for big operations.  I don't see this changing.

I don't see individual's owning them at this point with their new gear.   Some do have some of their old stuff.

It is actually good for the small mine the longer next gen takes.  The longer it takes means our older gear can keep running.
