To be honest , nothing much .
Something like 10$ is enough for me , just in case I have to use a taxi or something and launch . (It's a lot cheaper on our country)

It is hardly 50 USD , I don't find it useful to carry more than that anytime.

Does anybody actually carry a set amount all the time? I usually always have a note or two 5/10/20 then a bit of change in my wallet but I never leave the house without my debit card. I think cash will eventually become obsolete with digital only payments and hopefully bitcoin will be a viable alternative.

I carry maximum $100 in cash. But I always bring my atm with me.

You carry an ATM machine with you every where you go?  Grin

---

I only take whatever I think I need. I usually have a bank card on me though just in case and of course a little in my bitcoin wallet on my phone just incase the situation ever pops up where I could spend it.

Usually more than $500. I don't really care about losing it, since if I lose everything in my wallet the damage done will be worse than losing that money.
What's the point of having a good wallet if I'm not going to use it?

Why would you carry around $500 if you're unlikely to need it. Just seems like asking for trouble. You can always just put your cards in your wallet no need for cash (though you can keep a little cash in but only what you'd need on a day to day basis).

I tend not to take cash but just my debit or credit card. Cash will eventually be phased out and we'll probably pay for most things with apps on our phones or smartwatches.
