BitForwarder.com is the newest and best solution (as well as one of the only solutions) for your general bitcoin forwarding needs.  We offer complete solutions via an API and a basic web GUI.  For custom solutions regarding other cryptocurrencies, our support team is available to assist.

Our system was designed to handle millions of forwarding requests with high redundancy and secure off-site backups.  With HTTPS enabled, your requests to our server will remain private and secure.

Our website has two main functions:
  • Allow input of a private key that will be forwarded to another address.
  • Server-side, generate a bitcoin address and private key. Then, forward all transactions from Address A to Address B.

Use cases for our service include:
  • Use Case 1: You change wallets. A website does not allow you to change your associated bitcoin address. We will forward all transactions to your new address of choice, making the wallet switch easier.
  • Use Case 2: You stole someone's private key. You want to forward all transactions from their address to your address.
  • Use Case 3: Someone stole your private key. Every few days, they check that address and take what's left in it (however, they don't constantly monitor the address). We can forward all transactions to your new (and hopefully unstolen) address before the thief takes your funds.
  • Use Case 4: You have a vanity address (like our donation address), but you don't want to deal with importing and backing it up. Use us to forward from your vanity address to an address of your choice.
  • Use Case 5: Who knows! We designed this service because it may come in handy. Hopefully you'll find a way we can be of service.

While we are a new release, we have tested our systems and ensured that they are completely functional and attack-resistant.  If you have any questions, our support team is always ready to assist.  Contact us on Reddit, BitcoinTalk or via email.

How can you prove and guarantee that all bitcoins get forwarded instead of kept secretly in your wallet?
If your website is somehow hacked, the hackers would have tons of unencrypted private keys.

Also, "Case 2" - you should not provide any illegal services

Interesting service, how would you forward funds from an exchange wallet? You'd need to control the account correct?

Thats the point. If you have access to all the wallets, you could just steal all bitcoin and disappear.
I have read something about forwarding addresses already, they are huge security flaws

If our website is hacked, all they can receive is the IP address of our one of our off-site nodes (which doesn't help them whatsoever), and a list of hashed IP addresses who have used the website in the past hour.  There is no potential for a major security breach simply by hacking our website.

You can guarantee that our website is trustworthy by testing us out with a dollar.  And then work up to two.  And if everyone does this, you'll quickly see that we actually forward.  If you don't trust us, use us with smaller amounts until we've forwarded hundreds of bitcoins (adding a counter on the website soon).

We couldn't secretly keep them in our wallet because transactions are public (and can be viewed on the blockchain).  You can verify that we are forwarding all your transactions to your address.  If we ever stopped, all you'd have to do would be to stop sending bitcoins to your forwarding address (although this will never happen).

In exchanges, they generate the address/privkey pair on their end.  They don't tell you the private key however.  That's stored on their servers and used only when you process a withdrawal.  With any exchange I've come across, you couldn't use our service because the exchange doesn't give you your private key (for the address stored on their servers) and you need the private key to effectively use our services.

The bitcoins are not kept securely in our wallets.  The private keys are kept securely in a MySQL database on offsite nodes (which nobody knows the location or IP address of, not that either of those would help).  We never store the bitcoins.  As soon as we see a transaction, we send it off to the forwarded address nearly immediately.

There is no way we can regulate illegal vs. legal actions.  Anyone can prove they are the legal owner of a private key as soon as they have the private key.  This is just one possible use of our website.  While we don't agree that it should be used for this, someone else might choose to do so.  Bitcoin forwarding itself is not illegal by any meaning of the law, and therefore nothing we are doing is illegal.  It is the theif who is doing something illegal (known as stealing).  Is a person at Walmart who accepts stolen money (without knowing that it's stolen) doing something illegal?

We have just run updates on our servers and are continuing to provide forwarding services.  We hope that everyone continues to find new uses for our amazing services.

Site looks very good, its a custom bootstrap theme, sets it apart from other boring bootstrap sites.
However there is the issue of you running away with our funds. You do control the private key, and that is always necessary for you to forward, but it will be hard for me to trust this.

Thank you!

In terms of the trust factor, it's totally understandable.  With this project, there really isn't much of a way we can prove ourselves as trustworthy.  However, you can try us out with smaller amounts.  The type of forwarding that works great for this is small but frequent forwarding requirements so that if we were to ever run away (which we promise we're not going to do), we wouldn't run away with much and you'd be able to stop payments to that address.  Try us out with smaller amounts and hopefully we'll earn your trust.
