No. I am waiting for Bitcoin to replace debit cards and paypal as the dominant form of payment across the internet. After that, I will wait for bitcoin payment services to be offered in physical stores. Starbucks first, then Mccdonalds and Walmart.

Bitcoin to be on the same boat as fiat because the fiat system is collapse, than what would be the rate of bitcoin since bitcoin is always tagged on the value based on fiat. What I do want is bitcoin to take over online payment system which we still use fiat currency this day, and also to replace paypal since they can be easily reversible

If the fiat system collapses, so will all our utilities. Bitcoin is useless with electricity and the internet.

What I do want is bitcoin to take over online payment system which we still use fiat currency this day, and also to replace paypal since they can be easily reversible If Paypal allows for optional irreversible transactions and lowers its fee to a flat 1% fee, they could destroy most of the incentive to switch to bitcoin. Acquiring bitcoin or selling it usually eats 1% and using Paypal would eliminate the volatility. I think Paypal could compete very strongly with bitcoin if they actually felt threatened by it.

OpenBazaar might be the next significant boost to Bitcoin adoption. It is not ready yet, but money will flow into the Bitcoin economy and we will all benefit.
OpenBazaar is an open source project to create a decentralized network for peer to peer commerce online—using Bitcoin—that has no fees and cannot be censored. Put simply, it’s the baby of eBay and BitTorrent.

Who said I am waiting?
You know we all talk about and predict that fiat will collapse. It probably never will. I was there the days that you needed wheelbarrows to bring your pesos to buy bread. But they just shaved off the zeros making 1000 pesos 1 peso and equal to a dollar and all was kind of back to normal. Fiat won't collapse, it will always bounce back as long as a government will support it.
Whether it crash or not crash, people will come to realize the superiority of Bitcoin. There will be mass adoption based on ease of use. But there's nothing stopping us from using it now.

Paypal are actually feeling threatened already by bitcoin, you can see that because now of all times they are willing to accept bitcoin soon and this is their way of competing with bitcoin since they cant win . Irreversible transaction is actually a must which is one of the function of bitcoin

With more than 13 million in circulation, it probably will never reach a state of less manipulation. Even 10-20K Bitcoins right now can crash the price , think what over 200K can do, and we have 13 million in circulation.

Yes this is what i hope for that bitcoin will become popular alongside fiat because if fiat collapses the least of our problems will be the price and adoption of bitcoin. Saying that fiat has been said to be collapsing for decades and it hasn't and i don't see it happening any time soon even if half the internet would want you to believe it will. We have to carry on playing their ponzi game or die so we don't have much choice do we. I am waiting to be able to buy everything i need in life with bitcoin and then they will no longer have the control over us so it won't matter about what fiat is doing.

I am waiting for the bitcoin establish itself alongside fiat but with it's own recognition. This will certainly have a positive effect on the bitcoin community and it's popularity.

The fiat system will not collapse at once.... you will see the smaller fiat currencies going first. {They will either be forced or they will choose the option for it's benefits} The general public can force this or the government would have to change to enable it. Nobody is waiting for anything... Bitcoin just happens, to spread like a virus... only difference being... Bitcoin has no nasty payload. Give it time, it will happen gradually...

Fiat in which country--are you talking about USD, yen, euro, what? If you're talking about across all countries, that's not going to happen in our lifetimes, probably. It's a black swan event. You probably won't even see the collapse of whatever currency is in use in your particular country in your lifetime. And even if the entire fiat system were to collapse, there's absolutely no guarantee that bitcoin would be the go-to currency. People would probably hoard gold and silver rather than something with no intrinsic worth like bitcoin. As it stands, not many people use it right now other than hipsters and computer geeks.
I think OP reads too much doomsday economic prattling which is so common on the internet now.

I think we've only just begun to see the creativity unleashed in search of keeping the regular world economy ticking along. Rather a lot of people have a vested interest in keeping it afloat.
Anyone praying for fiat collapse had better be living in a bunker on an island when it happens or they'll be just as wiped out as everyone else.
Their masturbatory internet fantasies about becoming a post apocalyptic tycoon would end in around three minutes when your friendly neighbour stoves your skull in to get their hands on a tin of green beans.
It has zero need to happen for BTC adoption. All that does need to happen is more people finding a use for it.
