Edit: ETHER has been sold out as of Tues 4/28 EST, so the group buy will be unfortunately cancelled.

You may purchase from another user minerjones on the thread

Since F*D only offers 10 packs of the Darkcoin and Ether, I was considering organizing a group buy for those looking to buy singles.  Pictures of the coins can be seen in the thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=985983.msg11211287#msg11211287

There will be 100 of each minted, and they will soon be in stock.  Serial numbers would be distributed first come, first served.  I would accept escrow.

I live in the US, but monkeynuts has agreed to redistribute to the rest of Europe.    For international orders, I may consider sending him the European batch for him to receive his own and redistribute.

I would sell these coins at cost after figuring out the costs of the coins, shipping to me, and re-shipping to you.

Please let me know if anyone is interested, the qty & type of coins desired, and your country.  I would purchase a 10 pack of both coins.

I'd like to make a order within the next day or so.

I would be interested in 1 of each coin, and I'm in the US.

OK Thanks.  I updated the OP.  Lets see if we get some more, before I commit.

I am looking for one of each. I am also happy to act as a European distribution point, and can send on from the UK to the rest of us this side of the water. Message me halo if you need me to do anything to assist.

If there are enough in Europe, I could do a full 10

Failing that I will gladly take 1 of each from anyone who already has a 10 and is breaking

My hope is to allow people to get singles at low to no markup.  I personally don't want to get a 10 pack just to get one or two of each.  I'm all for a group buy or teaming up with an existing buyer if something can be worked out.

minerjones...what are looking for per coin to a buyer in the US?

Sounds good.

Yes, if we end up having international buyers, I could perhaps send a bunch to monkeynuts who can then distribute to the rest of Europe, since he wants some for himself.

So right now, it looks like we can either go with a reseller who already ordered a 10 pack if the markup isn't too bad, or we can just order a new 10 pack with no markup.  Right now we may have myself, snarlpill, and monkeynuts.

I'm not looking to make anything off this.  I just want to make the coins affordable as singles.

For sure...  I would ask enough to cover the coin, original shipping to me, mailing supplies, and gas to get to post.

10 coins  = $125 + $15 ship = $140 = $14 per coin.
The post on up to 3oz in US is about $2.50
Mailing supplies + gas = $2.50.

If anyone knows where to get cheap holders for the singles we could add those for hopefully $1 to make it $20 even...
maybe ebay??

Any ideas on this??

OK, thats very kind of you to make the offer.  Let me see how things keep going for the next day or so, and we can decide which way to go.  ebay certainly has airtites.  F*D I think had these in baggies if I recall when I last bought their brass dogecoin.   But since he's selling in bulk, he will likely put all 10 in one bag loose.

Right now, it looks like we have enough for a group buy right now.

I'll take 2 of each please, US.  I could do 4 each to close out the sale if you need a filler to get them all sold, but see what happens first.

I'd like to wrap this up today.  Last call before I order the coins and figure out costs.

Well I guess it depends on the costs and all but I'll be up for taking at least one Ether. If the price is right, I'd also take one of the Dash. I'm in the UK by the way. Thanks

I believe the costs will be $125 per 10 pack x 2 (1 DRK, 1 ETH).  $15 ship to me in US.  So that's about $13.25 per coin.  Then 1st class Ship to US should be $1 or so, if tracking not needed.  Bubble envelope a little more.  Guessing about $15 per coin shipped within US.

For Europe, I would likely ship in bulk to monkeynuts, then let him resend to the others around him, since he wants some, and is willing to reship.

monkeynuts should be able to reship, since he's getting a set.

Just tack on whatever the cost is from US there.  I'm not looking for any markup.  If you can, lookup the cost using US postal service, and let me know what it is.  I would just ship directly there vs asking monkeynuts.

Sorry guys...looks like someone bought out the last 2 @ 10 packs of ETHER in the last couple hours.

Hopefully minerjones or another user can offer these for sale to you.

Thats a shame. If anyone from the UK ordered a roll, please send a PM my way and perhaps we can negotiate a sale or trade for 1-2 coins.
Thanks anyway bithalo for trying to organise this.

You're welcome.  Wish I could have done this, but no point doing a group buy for only one of the coins.  Seems like many people wanted both coins.  I've been watching the website F*D, and was ready to jump on this early today, even before everyone committed. I would have just paid for it out of pocket, then worried about everyone else's payment afterwards.  Oh well.
