In hospital, recovering from double pneumonia. Apologies for the unexplained absence. #dropcoin

Ouch  Sad

Should be less than 3 weeks according to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classification_of_pneumonia#Clinical.
My dad had this when I was little and I think he was in hospital for a week or two.

Hi everyone,

I'm alive and recovering. Still do not have much energy but I'm glad to be back home and have my own bed  Smiley

It's going to be a bit slow moving forward for the next little while. Firstly, I am not feeling 100% yet, and secondly, I want to make sure that all the groundwork is solid and done properly before moving forward.

In terms of Dropcoin updates, I don't have much to offer as I haven't been able to do much of anything in the last week or so.
There has been some progress on a pool, thanks to some active community members. Rough code for a working nomp pool is located at https://bitbucket.org/kernels10/nomp-droplp. I have not tested it yet but am told that ccminer and cpuminer should both be able to mine on it. If I get the chance I will try and get one up in the next day or so.

Cheers,

nscrypto

It looks like he somehow got disconnected a mined a bunch of blocks locally?

I'd be interested to see the debug.log for that wallet

Same thing happened to me at some point today. Reinstalling wallet to see if that fixes it... will edit this post to reflect update

Looks like you guys are on a fork. Simply restarting the wallet should solve it for you. You may have to delete peers.dat too.

Keep your debug.log files, zip em up and send them to the dev so he can fix this if its truly a problem with the coin.

Yes please.

Status Update

We now have a working pool up!
I have updated ccminer so it will play nice with the pool.
kernels10 has also updated his cpuminer code to work on the pool.
Links have been added/updated in the OP.
