I find myself trying to refresh the MTGox market depth table when trying to trade and it's very cumbersome.  Is there an easier or better way to watch each transaction as it happens?

You can watch it on IRC. On Freenode channel #bitcoin-market you can see every trade in real time. On #bitcoin-watch you can see every transaction on the network.
There's also this:

If you use Chrome, the MtGox Peek extension is also handy.

mine are ghetto, but they give you the information you are looking for.

The depth chart is not live, but it refreshes quickly (usually).

The trades are live, and require a websocket browser... I have only used it in chrome but I think it will work in Safari as well.

Mewants - looks like the charting software doesn't work on a mac unfortunately?  The live IRC feed is great though.

EOF - thanks, this is helpful, although a little reformatting would go a long way.

FYI, I've made all detail charts and tables on bitcoincharts.com auto-updating. Not realtime yet, though.

Try SierraChart with MtGox datafeed. Real time and i think in the future can support orders too.

If you are using Android, then this nifty MtGox widget works wonders:
https://market.android.com/details?id=st.brothas.mtgoxwidget

I've been using it the past few days and keeps me up-to-date with the latest changes in the market when I'm out and about.

I can make the FXCM trading software work with Bitcoin.

If you would like such a thing, please voice your support here where more details are given: http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=10736.0
