+1 Alt-coins are weak copies of bitcoin. Almost all of them address some problem with bitcoin that does not exist. In ten years let's see if people have heard of bitcoin or the professor.

Bitcoin is the best of the lot, because of the fact that it has survived all the ups and downs and the community is still growing in numbers everyday. Many had promise and faltered along the way or still struggling to make a big splash. But Bitcoin at least created it's own atmosphere.

Bitcoin of course. It's accepted as a currency more places than all the alts put together. Right now, most coins aren't even real currency, and they won't be until merchants start accepting them.

Bitcoin may have the largest market share, and it may have the largest infrastructure, but it should. It's the oldest and has alot of early investors that want to get rich at everyone's expense. duh. But the price... what is happening to the price? Why YOU GO DOWN BITCOIN U DA BEST!?!?!?

Paypal has a larger marketcap.. Its accepted in more places.. Its instant.. we dont need any confirmations. Its federally insured, and has merchant protection...

That's right, none of those things mean paypal is better to any of you(or me for that matter). But to the market, paypal is superior in every way. The market doesn't always know what is best for them.


One thing ive learned since ive been here though is crypto devotion is second only to cults, and if you attack someones favorite they dont see your arguments they only unify stronger. It's kind of funny really.
