I hear the more recent catalysts don't have openCL driver anymore. I tried 12.8 and GUIMiner can't see any openCL miners Sad What to do???

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

I saw another thread (can't find it right now) where someone suggested using catalyst 11.12 or 11.4. Something about sdk 2.6 doesn't support XP so people were reporting success with using drivers that included sdk 2.1

12.1 with 2.1 sdk is best.

AMD APP SDK stopped supporting XP with versions 2.6 and later, you will need an earlier version. I recommend downloading AMD Catalyst 11.7 which includes SDK 2.5: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/previous/11/Pages/radeon.aspx?os=Windows%20Vista%20-%2064-bit%20Edition&rev=11.7

I saw the threads that said that but they are fairly old now. I had better results with sdk 2.5 included with Catalyst 11.7
