Hi. I am using bitcoin armory and I created a btc adress with it.
I saw this and was wondering if it's confirmed yet, because I haven't received any btc yet.

Sorry I'm hella beginner with transactions like this :p I had only used faucets and useless things like that in the past so..
Thanks in advance!

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

It's as confirmed as it gets. Tongue

If this ( 19Vh4KeEbE839PQcxXUVn9ma7JPZM9nyem ) is your BTC address, the bitcoins sent are in there.

That's not a transaction, it's an address Smiley

However, the only transaction into that address has indeed been confirmed.  Here's the relevant link: https://blockchain.info/tx/84067cfd607005e54a47eacd0984791ea32aac59f09130a24597ed8ce324f1b9?show_adv=true

How many confirmations does a transaction have to have for you to use your Bitcoin?
Sorry, my family and I are new to this

It actually depends on the wallet your transferring to and receiving from. If you're transferring to a blockchain wallet, I guess 1-3 transactions would be suffice while other wallets require 6+ transactions to confirm it.

---------------------------------------------

But why do I not see the funds in my wallet instantly?
There could be many possible reasons. The most common one is that the wallet doesn’t show any bitcoins with less than a number of confirmations (typical values are ‘3’ and '6’). Check the Confirmations for your transaction on the blockchain.info page. What does it say?

If Confirmations shows 0-3, the Bitcoin network is just slow, and you need to wait a bit more.

If Confirmations shows a higher number, then the bitcoins can be considered completely irreversible, in other words the transaction is done.

Every new confirmation needs 10 minutes on average. So depending on what type of wallet you use and many factors, it could take between 10 minutes and 1 hour before you get to spend the bitcoins that you have bought. This will be on average 20-30 minutes.

Hi, you can click the txid, \and it redirects to this page:  https://blockchain.info/tx/84067cfd607005e54a47eacd0984791ea32aac59f09130a24597ed8ce324f1b9

So I can see 217 confirmations there, it's confirmed, you should get you money now. If not, write a ticket to them.

Hi. I got this transaction BEFORE I could get bitcoin armory to get online, and now the btc won't appear in my wallet.
https://blockchain.info/tx/84067cfd607005e54a47eacd0984791ea32aac59f09130a24597ed8ce324f1b9

I know it was a stupid thing to do but I needed those quick. Is there any way to get those btc to my wallet? or did I lose those btc already?
If you have a solution please tell me :S thanks.

The client does not have to be online in order to receive bitcoin. Once its synced you should see the transaction.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

Has the wallet already 100% sync? If not, be patient, when the blockchain is fully downloaded to the local disk, you will see the money.

It's not lost because blockchain can't lie, all what I see is you just need to sync your wallet.  Tongue

If you want, you could always export your private key for the address that holds the coins, and then import in something like blockchain.info's online wallet if you need immediate access to the coins.
