You can adjust the time by yourself

It isn't automatic. It prunes messages if you click "Delete". Else, it won't. If you want to delete messages older than x days, say 30, change 14 to 30 and click "Delete". Only do this if you want to.

You can adjust the time by yourself

No automation = no time. Undecided

I have never used this 'prune' function and I have ALL my messages intact.
Maybe you shouldn't use this function at all if you want to retain your messages?

It seems like the number of days is adjustable, so you can specify how much older messages you want to delete.

It isn't automatic. OP might be spamming or might have misunderstood it.

It won't do anything until you press "Delete".
It is not an automatic process that occurs on its own; it is a one-time process of pruning older messages that you have to do yourself by pressing the "Delete" button.

If you don't want to delete old messages, just forget about this feature and don't use it.
