Community, please tell the devs what features do you want in an altcoin

I have noticed that there are new people asking around how to make an altcoin.  Well I think it might be a good idea to tell them what features we would like to have in their altcoin.

Please post what features you would want to see in a new altcoin.

Since features can always be added later, I would like to see more people working to support existing altcoins.

non existence would be the best feature for any new alt.

already 1001 alts doing the same damn things, alts made purely to mine etc etc

A pretty unsolved problem in cryptocurrency is stability.

I know, there's BitShares and NuBits, but they mantain pegs to assets like the USD or Gold and are not able to maintain an "independent" stable price.

If you managed to create an altcoin with an inherent stability mechanism, that would be a game-changer. (There are some old discussions about this, such as the old "StableCoin" thread, with some ideas).

A "Great Empire Coin (GEC)" certification, by the imperial government, would be a nice "feature" (tokeweed).
