This seems to be a nice offer, sir, but I think the section that you've put this into is inappropriate for the content per se. Might as well move this to services section and more people could see what is being offered and hopefully you'll see a bunch of peers ready to take the contest.  Anyway, is there any theme regarding the logo? I could try my hand at it too if I know the details fully.

EDIT: It seems that only platinum designers could submit their work onto this project.

IMO, those submitted designs aren't that good. They aren't worth $1000. I hope better ones are coming in soon. Good luck to you.

The requirements to become Platinum
The first step is to really focus on producing great designs. In addition to this, we offer Platinum status to designers who:
demonstrate the highest caliber of conceptual thought and technical execution in their work.
execute basic design principles well such as typography, visual hierarchy, composition and color.
create effective design solutions that meet clients' needs.
provide the required design files to clients.
submit original logo, icon and illustration designs that comply with our Stock Policy and Concept Originality Policy.
correctly source and declare stock images where they are permitted. Note: If stock images are used they must be uniquely modified or incorporated creatively.
avoid submitting too many generic designs.
conduct themselves professionally and follow the rules of 99designs.
have filled out their 99designs profile page as instructed in this article.
have won at least 1 contest.
We actively review designers for Platinum status daily. If you follow the above requirements on a regular basis, you can be sure we'll take notice!

So you have to register on the website, fill up your profile and win a contest all in 2 days, 18 hours to enter the contest?
Yeah I don't think many people will be able to submit here, but I do wish you the best. Hopefully you'll find a good design.

Charles, I doubt you'll get many entrants here with the Platinum requirement.
Even I, the most amazing graphic designer in the known universe, have never thought about pursuing a platinum status on 99Designs.

sounds like great news , since the contest is just for premium member so i cant submit my design. and okay i'll pm you and lets see what you can do for me

IMO, those submitted designs aren't that good. They aren't worth $1000. I hope better ones are coming in soon. Good luck to you.

I have seen a few good entries, but I am also sure in these days a lot of users will send their logos.

I have seen logos sold for millions, and companies pay them just because logos define the meaning and perspective of a company...
I ain't that professional in terms of graphic designing, but I will try my level best in order to give IO some awesome logos...

No  , but I think 1'000 dollars is really a lot of money only for a logo (also if it is very professional and 'awesome').

This contest is open to all the users, but you should at least know to use Photoshop and similar program/software to create some fantastic logos.
