Greed is in human's nature so deal with it and if you are using this kind of knowledge like a kid then you could say that gold and silver are also the financial virus. There is no point in arguing this but yes bitcoin changed alot of people's financial. No one will be willing to kill bitcoin not because of greed but because it is not kill-able since this technology is way beyond every currency nowadays
It's not killable, but if the powers that be decided to ruined, im afraid they could to a certain extend, towards massive negative press, aggressive laws against holders, buyers and sellers and whatnot. They could scare a lot of people away and cause a crash. Of course, there would always be people that aren't pussied out by the tyrants running Bitcoin nodes and Bitcoin would survive, but as a underground currency, not the mainstream success we want. It basically depends on the people, if they want to keep getting buttfucked by the fiat system or support BTC no matter what. If no one gives a fuck about their laws and whatnot, there is nothing they could do without causing a massive revolution (they would to basically go inside people's houses and shit, and they know that wouldn't benefit them).

Don't worry Oblivi, they won't do that.

Bitcoin is in a public beta test to serve as the foundation for a new era of Western Finance.

And the creators of it were smart to do it this way because it allows it to succeed or fail all on its on, while ironing out the problems and bugs.

By the time it's ready for prime time, bitcoin will have had a decade of beta testing behind it.

Account is back under control of the real AmericanPegasus.

If it is too low for reddit, post here.

Its considered multiple directions at this moment.

Yes, you can sell money for bitcoin and also trade for real gold that accepts it with bitpay. But, the technology should be considered more important then anything with a public ledger on howe do finance.

"you can sell money for bitcoin", that implies that bitcoin is not money. So no, I say that bitcoin is money. There are other kinds of money of course, so it would be "you can sell other kinds of money for bitcoin".

It's a belief of many people that bitcoin is volatile..and ya i think its volatile at present but in future the case would not be the same at present you can afford to invest in bitcoins as the future of bitcoin is safe ya it will face the competition with some new technology as well but it will not be dead.

it less volatile now than it ever was back then, we should be happy about that, they said that a stable price would increase adoption, well it seems that they were wrong afterall or we are just at the beginning

and competition(not talking about "clone coins" here) should be good for bitcoin, will bring down the volatility even more because everyone will start spreading their money
