Most of society u find were dumb enough to blindly believes many things they were told and taught by teachers and their 'elders'.  To start with I've listed grammar and Big Words.  The truth is people have invested so much time in useless systems they can't handle that it was basically worthless in the long run.  There's many more examples.  No doubt some in the forum will disagree in fact I find many will argue just for the sake or arguing.  A good way to look at the value of grammar is the wages paid to an author, most of which have at least some intelligence versus an editor, who will go through and correct their grammar.
Some of the more important types of indoctrination relate more to government.finance.healthcare,  since most have been touched upon in other threads I thought I'd list these and let others add to the discussion with other types of indoctrination.  As I type I also recall the addiction indoctrination, where government and drug dealers like to spread:  something along the lines of an addict choosing what they're doing etc.  If you're dumb enough to believe things like this is read up on the opium wars etc. where the British have forced their drugs upon other countries in acts of true evil.  These are the type that would like fools to believe their lies.
To add some still believe things like anger and depression are caused by people choosing to be this way.  Again if you're that ignorant/dumb maybe thinking isn't your forte.

The biggest problem is those who can repeat well everything they are taught, but aren't smart enough to think it through, as well as realizing which of it is fact/fiction/propaganda.  Then the spread of misinformation allows it to grow like an infestation.  Infestations of stupid ideas proliferates the machine that is the spread of information or so-called 'knowledge' in our society.  And idiots are so sure they're brilliant its hard to convince or unconvince them of much of anything.
