Payment received. Those intrested in the second can bid or buyout the one on ebay. If the ebay one does not sell I will repost here on this board.

Failed packaging is fail...

  • Box was all smashed up
  • No packaging material, save... a paper towel??
  • No anti-static bag - why not? The static generated from UPS Ground probably fried the card.

UPS doesn't care what's in the box. They just throw everything in the truck and hit the road.

I'd expect the box too be packed with peanuts. That helps the box keep its shape under pressure, and also, can insulate the contents from shocks and vibrations from the moving vehicle.

Use an anti-static bag. There is a reason they exist. May even double to keep the styrofoam off the card.

Anyone know how to contact this guy? He fell silent after I said the card was dead and requested a refund.

Have you tried contacting thru ebay? Also you may want to contact the buyer of his item there to see if he scammed them too?

Also they have anti-static bubble-wrap, its Pink. I use it for shipping electronics
