Encompass interfaces directly with Trezor, just as Electrum does. It doesn't generate its own keys, etc.

That your balance is incorrect is puzzling. What do you mean when you say that "the addresses on the receiving end was a lot"? As lead developer of Encompass, I'll help with any problems you're having since I don't want you to think Encompass is untrustworthy Tongue

The website didn't get updated; I'll bug the website folks about that. You can find the binaries on the Github Release page.

Well I have recently upgraded window to 8.1, so I will go ahead and download encompass and give it another try and definitely check out some stuff, on dash I had created a wallet and sent a coin over for testing, if it is still available I will think it works great and start using it as my main dash wallet as I just really want trezor support for it. The bitcoin issue is a bit concerning but I think it wasn't getting the most up to date information from the blockchain, it was missing a whole coin, so I will test it out later today and see if I still have that issue.

Thank you for the offer of help though, I do appreciate it.

No problem, thanks for the reconsideration. That issue is something nobody has ever reported before, so I'd like to hear how it goes. If you need any support, come to #mazaclub on freenode. I'm usually available to help there.

Yeah, the upcoming release (0.6.0) will include Dogecoin support, along with some other nice improvements. 0.6.0 should be released on June 21.

Tried sending some LTC today but keep on getting the following error:

error:{u'message':u'66: insufficient priority', u'code':-26}

Any idea what's wrong? First time this has happened.

EDIT: Managed to send the coins. Not sure why I received this error but all seems to be working now.

Does the 0.6.0 release give trezor support to Dogecoin or just bring it into the wallet as an option? If it has trezor support that's awesome!

Sorry, we've been almost comically behind schedule due to other stuff happening. Dogecoin is supported for Trezor, yes. Any coin that

1.) Your Trezor firmware supports, and
2.) Encompass has support for

is usable in Trezor Encompass wallets. This is true even if you're using unofficial firmware.

Understand that you guys are behind, it happens so quickly and lost minutes here and there quickly adds up.

Any idea when 0.6.0 will be out? Just a ballpark date will be fine.

Any updates yet on when the next version will see the light?

Just checked the website and see its still at 0.5.0.

Any news yet on the net release of Encompass?

The current version is getting pretty dated compared to the latest versions of Electrum-BTC/LTC versions.

I think I mentioned this before but if not....

The current stand alone version looks for the data files in the AppData folder on a Windows system instead of looking in the folder from which the exe is being run. Can you guys just look into this and ensure that the next release checks within the current folder. Without this feature the stand alone version is pretty pointless as you cannot put the data files on a USB drive as it will never check there for it.

Thanks

Anybody have any updates on Encompass?

Check on Github but see there has not been any real updates in a quite a while. Almost as if this project is not being worked on anymore.

Does anybody know whether this project is still actively being developed?

Checked on Github and see there has hardly been any updates for almost a month. Also, version 0.6.0 was scheduled for release in June if not mistaken but it has been delayed. Current version, 0.5.0 is miles behind the other Electrum based releases and the current Encompass version is in serious need of an update.

* bump *

Anybody here that have any information on Encompass?

I see there has been some movement in github but cannot find any information on what is going with this project and or whether there is still an update planned for it. Would like to see Encompass be brought into line with Electrum latest version.

I just looked at Encompass and it looks wonderful! Unfortunately I won't be able to use it until support for the HW.1 (BTChip) is supported. Are there any plans to support the HW.1?

Yes the latest version (0.6.0 rc 1) does look very nice and very promising.

I think we should see a stable release in the near future and that should have support for all the hardware wallets, I think/hope. This latest release does show Trezor as an option but it does not seem to work properly yet. I see this has already been reported on GitHub.
