Replace your peers.dat file with this one.
Make sure you have the "disconnect database at shutdown" checked in "options".
Close your wallet, wait a few and then replace it.

Wait till I give an OK before you try this blk file.

UPDATE:
What I see is you will have to sync from scratch with anyone's blk file
so don't use anyone buy your own blk file but you will also have to have your tx file and wallet.dat
otherwise the blk file is useless from what I see.
I am also not sure if someones blk file is able to be used in all wallets.

Download it anyway for the Peers.dat file.
It is also in the zipped folder and works well.

blk0001.dat can be renamed to 'bootstrap.dat' and put into a clean roaming directory; the client will begin bootstrapping at launch. alternatively you could launch your daemon/qt with the launch command -loadblock=<someoneElsesBlk001.dat>

Also, isn't peers.dat just the addnodes that had a successful connection?
