I am sure your exchange don't want to loose an obvious opportunity to make some profits one  month earlier.  
I bet they will be much much more compared to the voting "fees" profit. Take it seriously into account

So...what about Crypti?  Third-place DMarks didn't vote at all at the end of the month, your paid vote went from 1200 votes for BitShares to 9000+ votes for Crypti / BitShares together because of a Crypti push at the end of the month.  You effectively got a X8 boost in paid votes / development cash because of this end-of-month Crypti initiative and BitShares rising up to meet it.
