For your health, vaping is a better alternative than smoking tobacco.
This is a fact hard to dispute. Even the most anti vaping researchers cannot deny this.
Unfortunately this is how the current society works. The presence of ignorance is very strong in this forum as well. People do not know how to properly discuss things nor research for sources.
Just before recently replying to this very thread I've looked into some research papers related to vaping and e-cigs. Even though more research needs to be done so that long term effects can be determined, it is pretty clear that it is a healthier alternative.
Saying that quitting is better than switching to e-cigs is not an argument here. There are a lot of people who know what are doing to their bodies and
do not want to quit. However, switching to vaping could help them live a much healthier life.
We found that the e-cigarette vapors contained some toxic substances. The levels of the toxicants were 9–450 times lower than in cigarette smoke and were, in many cases, comparable with trace amounts found in the reference product . . .
For all byproducts measured, electronic cigarettes produce very small exposures relative to tobacco cigarettes. The study indicates no apparent risk to human health from e-cigarette emissions based on the compounds analyzed.
However, I'm already expecting some people to disregard both links and enlighten us with their wisdom.
