We now live in a society where safety and security are to be sought at all costs. The sacrifice of liberty is not a concern for most Americans today. This is not something new and it has been characteristic of most people throughout history but it has gotten especially bad in America since 9/11. In addition many Americans have become deeply worried as a consequence of the economic crisis that started in 2008. They have lost confidence in their future financial security but continue to deny our nation’s bankruptcy.

This has prompted many to opt for dependency on government even if it requires the use of force to get what they want to ameliorate their fears. Rather than having confidence in the benefits that accrue from a free society, the majority of Americans are now frightened by the thought of self-reliance and accepting the responsibility that comes with liberty.

There has been a steady erosion of confidence over the past 100 years as the American people as a whole have accepted the so-called need for big government to provide safety and security for its citizens. In the process they have readily accepted the personal income tax and the abuse of the IRS along with the illegal power of the money manipulators at the Federal Reserve to pay the bills by simply printing money. Unfortunately they have also convinced themselves of our “righteousness” by supporting force to spread American “greatness” throughout the world. This of course is a fantasy and is self-deceptive. This trend has been ongoing since the Woodrow Wilson era up to and including the policies designed by the current crop of neoconservatives.

It’s a sense of insecurity that prompts the need to demonstrate strength and confidence in an artificial manner. In a way it’s “a little man syndrome” to compensate for our diminishing achievements in our domestic economy and our position in world affairs. This includes the “chicken Hawks” as well as those who participate in aggressive behavior both domestically and internationally.

Many get a sense of strength and a feeling of patriotism from being able to bomb and kill individuals 6,000 miles away from our home though they have never committed an aggressive act against us. Our policies are designed to search for enemies to destroy though they pose no threat to us. We use remotely controlled drones and cruise missiles to perpetuate a sense of power even against powerless Third World pseudo-enemies.

Virtually the same spiel he's been chanting for decades, isn't it?

When Ron Paul accepts Bitcoin as superior to gold, I'll listen to him again.

I have to agree w/ that point, Ron has been a neanderthal when it comes to gold and bitcoin acceptance. The former is great and the latter is worthy of talk but that's it.

We are going to behave as Wimps when we are taught to behave as Wimps. This is BY DESIGN.

First, lets understand the Opposite of Wimp. Confident and Assertive. People that are Confident do everything in their ability to manage all of their lifes problems by themselves that do exist by not surrendering Self Authority to someone else to resolve all of their problems for them. But our manufactured society does not reward people in general for this type of behavior what so ever. In a public school, teachers respond to displays of confidence with punishment and punitive measures. How dare you question my position as a teacher. How dare you question my authority. How dare you place more value on cooperation than obedience. How dare you try to become Emotionally Independent of Grades that are assigned to you. That is the very nature of Public School, to manufacture an Emotionally Dependant Slave. The path to the submissive identity of students is rewarded, while every path to a confident and independent self identity is regarded as a "Problem Child". Like every single one of you, and me.

Now lets look at how Public Schools treat those who are Wimps in comparison to those who outwardly display self confidence. The Wimp runs to the teacher any time there is any sort of problem, whether it is a lack of understanding or someone picking on them. The truly self confident kid doesnt run to the teacher and are constantly told "they need to run to the teacher to solve all their problems for them", thereby attacking the confident identity at every possible turn. Public Schools also manipulate the minds of youth by linking Good Grades through Obedience to the Quality of Character. You are only a Good and Valued member of your Assigned Group if you are Obedient and get Good Grades. The opposite here also needs to be analyzed. If you get Bad Grades, a lot of psychological things happen, in which the intent is to turn the minds of those who get Bad Grades against themselves. The result is the very Mind of the Oppressed becomes the Weapon of the Oppressor. "I am a Bad Person because I got Bad Grades." "I don't deserve to be treated with respect because I got Bad Grades." "I don't deserve a good paying job because I got Bad Grades." And this type of self attack happens on every level of the Self Identity. "I am stupid" is the self attack on ones Intellectual Identity. "I dont deserve sex with good looking girls because I get Bad Grades" is a self attack on ones sexual identity, once it manifests in children. But most importantly, it is designed to undermine their self confidence and replace it with emotional dependancy on Authority. "I dont feel good about myself because I get Bad Grades in school." The result of all of these styles of attacking the core identity of the students who display true self confidence is to flat out manufacture a Nation of Wimps.

Wimps will tolerate more abuse than a confident person. There can be varying degrees of confidence, as long as the Wimp Worker Bee is completely dependant on all forms of Authority for their Self Identity. In the Wimp Adult, they call 911 for every problem. "My husband is yelling at me and I am afraid for my life". "My neighbor threatened me when my dog dug up his rose garden". The end result is a populace that is completely dependant in all their forms of self identity on their Controllers. They will turn to the Controllers in times of severe financial distress, and then internalize the financial failure as being their own fault, not the fault of fair and reasonable compensation for the work and labor they provide. These completely dependant respond with "I need Food Stamps" or "Welfare" and "Police" and "Fire Department" and "Military" and are afraid of everything they are told to be afraid of. Be afraid of Bad Weather, for only Govt can help you to recover. Be afraid of Brown People, and that is why Cops shoot Brown People, they are all Evil and wish to do you harm. A constant LIE. The message varys in forms, and each variation results in the same repeated conclusions: YOU NEED CONTROLLERS TO CONTROL YOU.

A true Nation of Manufactured Wimps.

Wimps? Probably not. Mostly indecisive and ignorant of the danger.
