Particle coin recently had an attempted takeover by a dev called niitassin who claims to be 11 years old. No doubt he is interested in Bitcoin if he was trying to take over an alt. He could have been lying about his age, but the take over was a failure because the wallet would not sync, so maybe he really is only 11.

I don't personally as in real life, know any bitcoiners.
I read about a 13 year old boy though who invested 1500 dollars that he saved from his birthday and christmas into bitcoin & made several hundred thousand dollars, he then started a business but I forget what the business was, it wasn't bitcoin related.
It's incredible really as with bitcoin you can be your own bank.
I'm sure there are hundreds of real success stories through bitcoin involving investors of all different ages.
No doubt their will be lots & lots more too.

I am close to 50 and I introduced a whole grade 4 class to Bitcoin, as part of a Entrepeneur's Day.
Most of them are now active Bitcoiners, making money selling root beer and hotdogs. My kids also joined in and they have more coins than I have. ^joke^

Hey man keep up the good work.
Anybody introducing new people to bitcoin is a legend in my books.
A certain generation of people may be too old to grasp, understand & implement bitcoin into their lives.
What should be remembered  is that todays children are tomorrows businessmen/entrepreneurs so teaching bitcoin to children is a total winner in my opinion.

I read a story a while back that a father has been awarding is children under 10 years old Bitcoin for doing certain things like homework. Im assuming hes going to hand the private keys to them when they are no longer a minor?

I sent my daughter a 1btc transaction to a physical bitcoin 3 minutes after cutting her umbilical cord. I will be giving it to her on her 18th birthday. That might be the youngest bitcoiner.
Thats great. Maybe that will be the best present ever. Imagine the huge birthday party she will make when she sees the price of 1 BTC in year 2033.

I'm the oldest person I know using it although I stopped telling my age. I got tired of people asking me how long it took to cross the country on horseback and if I prefer black and white TV to color. lol  My neighbors kid smokes pot in the back yard. I was watering the plants a couple of years ago and asked him if he shopped on SR for his weed. He said no he gets it from school. He didn't know what Bitcoin was, we talked about it and now he uses it all the time. He was 15 back then. He's the youngest I know personally.

I know that story must sound strange to people in other parts of the world but San Francisco is an odd place. There's two constants about people in SF that hold true most of the time. You always assume everyone you meet is gay, lesbian or bisexual and everyone you meet gets high including the cops. lol

Oh my god, I can't believe! And did you teach that boy use Bitcoin to buy pot?!!

No, I just told him about it. He said he never bought drugs with it because his school supply was such good quality NorCal Purple Kush and Sour Diesel. He thought it was stupid to go somewhere else for worse quality and higher price.

The youngest Bitcoiner I know of is nahtnam. He should be around 15 years old, seeing that he stated that he was 13 over here (which was two years ago). The youngest Bitcoiner I personally know is 17 and I'm 20 years old myself (will be 21 next week).

Does he have any intention of bringing back the faucet project which he was working on?  Interesting thread as I went through it but somewhere along the lines it seems like his ambition or funding dried up, maybe a bit of both.

Well, I only know about myself. I was 14 when I started over a year ago.

I do know my friend's dad who apparently used to mine bitcoin at his work. I think he is around 40 years old.
