What concerns me is lack of any information about the team behind this platform, any data about where is located etc. Just like only building a huge base of mobile numbers of people engaged in crypto. But I am probably just paranoid  Smiley

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

everytime a project asks for phone number, i always use free internet number (i.e. from textnow), that way i don't have to give my personal number.

I believe that if you use SMS for 2-FA, then they can somehow use your phone number to approve sending cryptos to their own public key address. When you go to their website and click on something they will install the necessary malware/keylogger on your computer. Then when you log into an exchange you are going through them even though you see your correct balances in your exchange account. If you keep whatever you have on that exchange after you log out, then that's when they strike, assuming that you have amassed enough money there for them to act. If you don't have enough, then they'll wait till you do. I am basing the above from recollection of a hack that was published on the Internet. I'm sorry I can't find the exact link but don't give out your phone number for something as fishy as this. Always use Google Authenticator or Autry for 2-FA.

https://thebitcoin.pub/t/how-hackers-can-hack-your-wallet-with-2fa-sms-activated/9053

https://www.grahamcluley.com/hack-email-account-mobile/

You can also Google "This is how you can protect your cryptocurrencies from hackers"
I couldn't post this CNBC link b/c this website will block the link saying it's a suspicious link. How stupid is that? Dumb AI.

The only semi reliable information I found was from a reddit post at https://www.reddit.com/r/MyEtherWallet/comments/7towx4/candy_token_value_and_cash_out/

Bummed out that I didn't receive any free candy.

Wow 400K!  I received another 48k to my ledger nano. I don't know too much about candy so I'm not moving them or doing anything until there is more info on this.
