The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

that is a bit stupid how he compare it to avatar in gaming or stuff like that, because apparently he forgot that the big strength of bitcoin is decentralization

the rest is just hating...

also a funny thing is that, 3 weeks after that article, the bitcoin price raised to 230...

That's what you get when you don't understand how bitcoin work. Also this article was posted in 2013 so his predictions didn't fulfilled.

This guy posted it in 2013, I'm curious how embarrassed he is now Grin And, why did he do this? Does he have a bad experience with digital money/currency?

Op. You know that this article is from March 29, 2013? Why exactly do you want to hear opinion about it. It is obvious that writer of this article is not a fan of bitcoin:
"Considering its shady designer, CIA involvement, recent news that the Government is already looking to get it under control and what is at stake, Bitcoin has become a major liability to free market monetary reform."

This article is no different that usual anti-bitcoin propaganda written by people who are sceptical because they don't know Satoshi personally and they think that bitcoin is a CIA project...

I guess nobody saw it or predicted it would go up. If you look at the trend and sentiment at present day, people still say the same thing as it was years ago and every time you will see that history is repeating itself. That's part of bitcoin that you will get used to it.
