i decided to keep holding my coins a bit longer. it always feel better to spend coins when their value has gone up. at this point there is not much that i need. so holding is the best option.

I think the best bet is to hold long term. Hold for a couple of years at least and your bitcoins should hopefully have far more purchasing power then then you can live like a king on bitcoin  Cheesy.

I think that idea is bad, because if you do that you can miss the time when the price of bitcoin is high, you can miss the time when the opportunity to sell your coins in high price. And you don't know what is the value of bitcoin in that time when you took or wait a 1 year.

Strictly trade. I rarely ever find the need to convert my BTC to fiat currencies. Doing so usually involves fees if I were to go through exchanges an such plus the hassle.

you can not say for sure that bitcoin price will go up like how it did before, i mean like $1000. and i think just blindly stashing coins in the hope that you would become a millionaire is not a good idea.

i myself am holding but i also try to spend, trade and increase my coins and not just sit on them.

Why it's not a good idea? To become a millionaire is not a good idea? If you don't want too much risk or if you don't plan to cloudmine, trade BTC or alts or maybe don't want to know anything about crypto at all at this point it would be quite understandable and maybe a good move to buy some and hodl some. If you lose it, you lose it, but you can become a millionaire Tongue

Hello btc users! Just interested - how do you spend your BTC bitcoins?
Buy something, trading, maybe just collect and waiting for good price? Smiley
mostly i use my bitcoins for trading, i dedicate a part of my total bitcoin to trade and store (hold) the rest for the future.
but also i did some gambling with my coins which is fun.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

it's not a good idea right, it's just the best you can do now, better than trading, there is no room for trading, little gain from shorting, the price is not swinging enough for that

spending is good and all but only for necessity, throwing away btc because you have many it's a worse idea than holding and hoping for a better price

what i meant was that it is not right to have this mentality that if you buy bitcoin now at price of lets say $200 and put it away, you are going to be a millionaire after some time.

bitcoin is not meant to make people rich.

it is money and you can earn and spend and trade it, just like any other currency but with cool features.

Why should the bitcoin  price absolutly grow?
it will have the right price given by the market.

I am curious to this answer  Huh So let me get this straight, you buy for fiat/"hard paper cash" and then you sell for fiat/"hard cash"? Why bother buying it in the first place lol

Save it all. Gonna wait for bitcoin to go mainstream so I can buy things I actually want with it.

This is what I do, I buy it and use it as a savings/investment account with the added benefit of being in control of it myself, roll on the mainstream...
