I buy things with my bitcoins but I also partly hold them for the profit you can make with it in the future that is coming these days.
spend and holding its the most people do in bitcoin and that's what I did. I have some bitcoin and I held him and did spend some bitcoin at multiple sites. bitcoin now begin to develop looks you can see many shops that already accept bitcoin as a payment option

Ideas and plans a very brilliant, may you quickly realize these things and still always consistently to get something bigger things again (not quickly tired after reached the target). Something big from small things. keep trying and keep commitments.

investing mostly or holding for increase in value.

I pretty much do the same with my bitcoin as you. With the coming halving, holding seems to be a desirable thing to do with your coins, since the price will go up shortly before and after the halving.

I also invest because there are great opportunities for you to discover out there. Takes a bit of searching around.

did you think about it as a bad investment opportunity when it cost like 10 dollars a few years ago? who can be sure that the price wont raise that much as it did again or it can reach even bigger heights

I remember hearing about it thanks to NPR when they followed bitcoin in 2012 and did their own little experiments with it. I think the price was even cheaper than $10. But I certainly didn't understand it well enough to appreciate its investment potential.

So, just like the vast majority of holders (though I'm not ashamed to admit it), the first coin I bought was $600+, and its been nothing but a steady decline since. If you think otherwise its because you don't know how to read charts or identify trends.

To get technical, the floor seems to be about $210-$215. But if it drops below that, watch out, $10 BTC here we come.

Going the other way, if it breaks above $270 or so, I think it could very well be the next "step" and could reach $2000+ a coin.
There are allot of people who dont know what to do with their coins and are just holding them but they need to be spend because otherwise the price of the coin wont change anything, So what i want to buy with coins i buy.

Periodically I buy little and used to hold it in the wallet. Only on emergency I used to cash out. Other than this only at times of big rises I convert to fiat.

Hello btc users! Just interested - how do you spend your BTC bitcoins?
Buy something, trading, maybe just collect and waiting for good price? Smiley

Only two words: First, investing. Second, saving. Never used for everyday spending and never ever for gambling or other kind of spends which are only for fun and don't bring absolutely nothing except the pleasure of the moment. I think that most of the people who don't use bitcoin for such aims don't understand the real potential of bitcoin.

yeah if you still have that little amount of bitcoin would be better if you doubled it or grow it. perhaps after a amount of your bitcoin that much you can hold it but for now you'd better grow it. there are various methods for example trade. If you have these skills you will be very profitable here

Honestly this is not the right time for bitcoin trading. but if you choose an altcoin currency to trade and increase your bitcoin with help of that, then it would be good,.
as I said above this time is not good for bitcoin trading, it is the time only for collecting all your previous investment and store them for halving, the bitcoin price is getting higher before halving, so you can imagine how much we get at the time of halving.
but if you are sure that you invest your btc to trading and get them back with profit before halving then you must do it.

I myself is just holding my coins. Let others drive the bitcoin price higher and I will just reap the benefits from it. Anyway, I only hold a small amount of bitcoin so moving it around by spending will not make any change in bitcoin price. So I will just hold and wait.

It's amazing how may times we all answer the same question on this forum every day. There's nothing unique about this question that I haven't answered 100 times already on this forum. So, I'm just gunna ramble on.

yeah I also use bitcoin for profit difference from you Im use trading and holding simultaneously?
I do not use all my bitcoin for trade. I leave some bitcoin to hold it in your wallet. and wait for the right price to sell. it is a habit that I do

I think for the moment where halving will come and the upward trend of prices continues to occur, many people who prefer to hold their bitcoin than spend it. same as me I now prefer to hold maybe it will provide great benefits for me

Before, I just store my bitcoins and withdrew it in times of needs.  I don't gamble, since I'm thinking of losing my earnings there. However, as time goes by, I thought of investing some of my bitcoin. So that's what I'm doing now. I store some of my bitcoin and invest some of it. I also don't want to withdraw my coins yet since the price is still going higher Smiley

I am usually hold my payment from signatures campaign every week. I am will keep it until i need to buy or pay my necessary. Sometimes when the price goes up i get more value from my bitcoin.
But if i want double money  usually i do trading sometimes, this is not my main activities but give decent profit.
