I have 2 singles for sale that have been running rock solid for a few months now. I'll accept reasonable offers but lets get the ball rolling at $750 a piece plus shipping.

I will only be accepting bitcoins as payment and we will use the MTGOX last price at the time of sale.

Isn't BFL selling singles for $600 a piece right now?  Why the $350 premium for a used single?  Huh I feel like I must have missed a memo

Singles can be bought for ~63BTC from BFL, but shipping will take 50-60 days, based on current estimates.

The advantage of buying one second hand is that you can be mining in just a few days, instead of in 2 months.

That said, you can only hope to get about 10BTC a month, even at the fastest firmware. That means you will mine ~20BTC in two months.

So you can pay 95BTC now from cletus, and mine ~20BTC in the next 2 months, or you can pay ~63BTC, and mine nothing in 2 months.

So at the end of 2 months, you can either pay 75BTC, or 63BTC, your choice.

And based off this math, used Singles are only worth ~800USD (Price of a new one + 2 months of mining).

Is it just me, or do those look a little dusty.

At the rate difficulty is rising, I'd be surpised if you make 15 BTC in 60 days. If these were brand new, that puts them at around $750 break even. Used Singles aren't worth more than $700 at this point IMO.

That would mean difficulty would double in the next 30 days. Do you really believe that will happen?

With ASIC testing, anything is possible. Regardless, we are talking a difference of $50. With no difficulty increase at all, the most you are going to get is 20 BTC. Yochdog's offer looks good, I would take it. I'm thinking the market is going to be flooded with singles within the next 30 days going for sub $600. Not everyone is upgrading to ASIC.

BFL is getting their shit together. Shipping times potentially under 40 days. You're actually looking at a BFL product in 4-6 weeks, people. This puts them at closer to 70BTC.

Crazyates I think your initial analysis is pretty accurate.  $800 is a fair valuation so I will accept offers for that price.
