Clipse was probably stupid enough to invest them in to Pirate's ponzi scheme. We just had to cover his losses.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Are there any updates, I haven't really followed this in a long time, Kind of accepted the loss.
Also I think Bonuspool/NEIL ROELOFSE was running a ponzi scheme from the beginning.

Not really. Police can't do shit because bitcoin and we don't have any solid proof that Neill Roelofse = Clipse. Just some forum posts and very good guessing.

He made a LinkedIn account. I contacted him and the account was deleted Cheesy I hope everyone would google his name every once in a while and let him know we are still looking for him.

But no, not any real updates. Thanks for the bump tough.

5) What's up with your own 50GH mining farm? Sold? Where's the money?

Very good question. This rig was mentioned many times by Clipse and when it is not sold this rig can provide 15 btc income per day and near 500 btc per month according to current network difficulty.

Let's calculate how much he owed in total according to data in two topics (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=105866.0 and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=118353.0):

marke74.miner 325

Inaba 231

Math Man 173
Morblias 109
Danilo 100
dmcurser 80+

zapeta 20
roomservice 19
juggalodarkclow 18
KBdigital 16
LoupGaroux 15
John (johnthedong) 12
psilan 5.5
gnpeer 5.5
Xfinity 5
--
Total: 1817 (calculations are done with no interest promises included)

Hope, I didn't miss someone. If it is not so, please correct my calculations.

It is possible to pay out all the money to people listed above in 3-4 months by using the rig power only. Unfortunately, I am sure there are much more people harmed from this scam.

Current MTGOX price is ~ 27$ per BTC so...

1817 BTC = 49059$

so much money is gone  Undecided

You can tack about 8k dollars on there for me. Puts the total at about 63.5k with the current 30 dollars price. I would really like to get my hands on that pond scum. Hopefully he ends up a quadriplegic and that money is used to keep his ass alive for the next 70 years.

Debt calculations update Smiley

8k dollars from Beans on 30 USD per BTC is near 266 BTC

marke74.miner 325
uuidman 320
Beans 266

Total: 2083 BTC

Current MTGOX price is $145 per BTC, so the total debt is 2083 * 145 = $302035

Here we are Smiley near $300k

 Angry

This is giving crypto-coins a bad rap.  Boy I'd love to use bounty's for what they were actually intended for to come after these guys.

MercCoin anyone?

3 years on and these are my last words on this matter.

Everyone who wanted my life to turn to dust definitely succeeded.

When I ran bonuspool for well over a year, I always offered the highest possible payouts and always paid on time and everyone were happy.

Everything went right even at times I kept paying more than 100% out of my own pocket to keep users happy.

This all slowly led to me making the biggest mistake imaginable, trusting bitcoinmax and only for a week.

This one decision among all decisions led to my internet and social life meltdown where those who made death threats against me should have acted on it because it would have been a way more humane way for me to get off this planet.

When I started bonuspool I wanted to help users earn a bit more and as I stated before if I ever had any intention to scam anyone I would not have used all my real public information which in turn let to my social destruction.

Numerous times I requested from bitcoinmax to provide me with my balance to have as much proof as possible to show users I did not run off with anyones coins nor profited but bitcoinmax simply disconnected their website and all communication the same day, that I lost all of my own coins except the +/- 100BTC buffer of coins I always kept aside at the time I ended up paying out to last few payout requests that was pending before pirate@40 ran with everyones coins.

Due to my own ambition and partial stupidity I ended up trusting something I would never in a 1000 different lifetimes have done and the result was a complete killswitch on my life, the people I enjoyed collaborate with and future people I intended to have friendships with.

bitcoinmax and pirate@40 activated the killswitch on my life but ultimately I pressed the button when I chose to trust it and that is something I cannot take back and it is still haunting me to this day and forever will.

if I could repay everyone I would have, but I noticed that a year of relationship with users and being seen as a honest person turns to zero within a few seconds when something goes horribly wrong.

To this day I hope that the funds stolen from all of us by pirate@40 and bitcoinmax, which in turn got solely blamed on me by my bonuspool users did not ruin anyone elses life as much as it did mine. That no one feels the way I feel today due to loss of friends, social status and my own financial loss due to this whole painful disaster.

I know this is too little to late for many of you, I explained it to the few who calmly contacted me back when it all went to shit but ultimately I simply had no way to communicate on the forum after a few users harrassed, threatened and ultimately made horrendous death threats and hire to kill darkweb requests against me and my family. At this point I was still in complete shock over pirate@40 theft of coins and all these extra pressure made me switch off entirely and drove me into deep depression.

I dont expect any pity from anyone. Everyone got hurt in this and believe it or not I got hurt and damaged by far more than mere financial loss.

All I ask is to try and understand what happened and look back at how we communicated before things went south and find it somehow possible to see things from my perspective as explain above and understand just how much this cost me, then, now and in the future.

I typed this from the heart, you guys can make of it what you want and I am sure there is alot of spelling errors.

I am really fucking sorry how this ended and tried my best to find a solution to make some sort of repayments but google indexing which you guys succesfull maintained kept me from any decent job with zero solution for repayment or own income to survive.

Amazing. You came back to apologise, but ended up blaming the people you stole money from.
I hope this comes back to haunt you for the rest of your life. Unless of course you pay for your crimes.

You never explained anything. You just asked for more time while you deleted as much of your online social profile as you could.

You stole the money. Get that through your head.
