What butcoin wallet do you use? I mean blockchain, xapo or whatever. Why? Which one is the best?

I use Blockchain and coinbase both.
Both of them are pretty much the same, but I'm biased towards blockchain because it's very easy to add a tag to a newly generated bitcoin address,
Helps me keep track of which address belongs where, but well
that's just me

In terms of safety, both are well established and you shouldn't be having a problem with either.

Cheers Smiley

What about cold-wallets? I suppose it is the most secure way to store the bitcoins. Only gets online when needed to and other than that time, it remains 100% secure. I believe bitcoiners should move ahead in the direction of cold-wallets for securing their coins.

Base on my experience Multibit bitcoin wallet is safe and secure. I've been using it on for a couple of months now without any problem.

...

litecoinguy, in another thread, posted a picture of the (presumably) soon to be released digitalbitbox.  It resembles the Ledger Nano in that it uses a smart chip.  It will NOT include firmware updates by design, so probably making it easier to use (and to control).

digitalbitbox.com is a Swiss company.  The website is worth a look.  The device looks like it will be just right for BTC users like me.

(I am happy with my Ledger and my Trezor, but BOTH are asking to have their firmware updated...)

I am using Coinbase for long it's very user friendly.
you don't have access to your private keys which means if Coinbase goes offline your funds are gone with it forever too.

Do I need to remember my Identifier(which is hard to remember)?

to check your bitcoin balance you only need your bitcoin address, and you can check it on any online block explorer. but in order to spend your coins you have to log in your bc.i account so you have to use the identifier.

Thanks for the clarify,

but still either bitcoin address / identifier need to be remember,
which is a hard task for me,
can bitcoin address / identifier turn into sth like username

You can set alias in settings. For example, if you set "h4hor" as alias, then you can access your wallet by going to https://blockchain.info/wallet/h4hor. Don't use an alias which can be guessed easily because others will be able to steal your coins if they somehow got your password too.

Another way is to convert the identifier to poetry using https://brainwallet.org/#converter or any other tool[1]. Then memorize that poetry. The best method to memorize is to picture it -- http://www.memory-improvement-tips.com/memory-association.html. After you memorize it, you can convert poetry back to Rot13 to get the identifier whenever you want[2].

[1] You first need to select Rot13 in 'Source Encoding' and  'Poetry' in 'Convert to' to convert identifier to poetry. (Brainwallet.org)
[2] To convert poetry back to identifier, select 'Poetry' in 'Source Encoding' and  'Rot13' in 'Convert to'. (Brainwallet.org)

Electrum is the best lightweight wallet, it has good security & many features.
Also, mycelium & bitcoin wallet for android is not bad either

But, of course bitcoin core is the best Smiley
