This patch was authored by Gavin A.  I broke it out into patch format, in case some people found that more useful than git.

URL: http://yyz.us/bitcoin/patch.bitcoin-testnetwork

For the future, I hope to add a "-testnetwork" switch which will enable network switching without recompilation.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Definitely add a switch!  I'll add to my gentoo ebuild when there is a switch.
