What we need most is a captain at the helm. Any takers?

No we don't have to use his site but think of it like if this if we plod on with Britcoin development and help it progress and Ken does decide to come back, what if he releases his own development on Britcoin, there will be conflict and this will confuse the market, it has happened many times before hence why some coins change their name or just start their own

We can start our own or develop Britcoin further eitherway I hope Ken does reply!

That is a risk you/we take. Think if we take Britcoin and grow its value by X amount - More possibility he could come back?

Wish I could help with that but I've only got his email address.  Guess we have to wait until he gets back, if he doesn't then maybe start a new coin with a different name?  I wish we could use Britcoin, but like bates said it would cause big problems should Ken one day decide to start things up..  But then again there aren't any IP/copyright claims made on "Britcoin" so who knows.

I didn't sign anything, just a written agreement that he owns the domains and accounts etc.

You're right that no one can can truly "own" Britcoin since it's a open source p2p network, so I guess we could just fork and move forward with it I guess.

No reply off Ken as of yet, so a fork may be best. No-one can truly own a decentralised currency but controlling the main assets (i.e. The exact name domain, social media etc) can cause disruption.

Good to hear you're taking the initiative, as far as I'm aware there isn't any block explorer online..  Or is Brit listed on any exchanges anymore.
