Hey OP, Mark and I are going out tonight to spend your bitcoin. We just bought matching switchblades to do coke. We like to get lit up then play a round at my indoor golf course.

As much as I agree with some statements, technically youre a victim of anything.

Its a matter of how to reduce those risks and come out ahead. When you go to school, youre already a victim to the banks that you are forced to pay back loans regardless if you land a job or not.

Keep in mind how hard it is to find 1 bitcoin mined and what it required though..

I rather hold just the fact that its hard as hell to mine now for 1 btc.

only those that bought at the peak and sold at 200 are the real victim, i would say they aren't bitcoin victim but they are victim of their incompetence about trading, trading is risky, very risky if you are new to it

and don't invest more than you can afford to lose, apparently they forgot this

You are only a victim if someone else has stolen from you or defrauded you. But there is no promise in bitcoin, either you believe it to be worthy of having, in case you buy, or not, in that case you don't buy or sell.

No fraud, no victims.

Thank you for the public service announcement. You are far too easy to spot nowadays, you've gone full beartard rather than your usual "I'll try and be cute" beartard mode.

Don't tell me you think that people posting that rubbish really believe it? The same people who told you Bitcoin would be worth $30,000/BTC by now?

That is the difference between you and I then. Nobody "tells" me anything. Just as we don't listen to your nonsense, we don't listen to that either. Especially someone so insecure in his position that he can't use his real account.  Roll Eyes

We don't need your help man. We are doing well on our own.

No fraud, no victims.

"No promotion of bitcoin"?!
All the bagholders screaming "buy buy buy! choo choo motherfucker! Don't get left behind!"? What's that called?

Don't tell me you think that people posting that rubbish really believe it? The same people who told you Bitcoin would be worth $30,000/BTC by now?

And what do you mean to say by "no victims"? Of course pyramid schemes have victims - the people who bought in late and watched their "investment" do a convincing reenactment of Hindenburg's last trip?

No promise from the seller. No victim since there is no fraud or theft. Read man, read.

No promise from the seller.

You really think the people screaming "Buy buy buy!!!" really aren't selling?  They're telling you to buy, knowing full well that greater demand will drive the price up? Because they like to buy high and sell low?
Because they're your friends?

TL;DR: Of course there's promise from the seller - "MOON!!"

troll.

You may not listen to the ponzi promoters, which in no way negates the fact that they're promoting a ponzi (the point I was making).

To follow up on your "Nobody "tells" me anything" tangent:
Most confidence schemes revolve around making the mark believe that he's smarter & better than the rest of the rubes, of which you're clearly become convinced Undecided
I have made a great deal of money ignoring people who do not understand bitcoin. It really is my edge. You for example are warning about a ponzi and clearly you don't even know what a ponzi is.  Cheesy  You had your chance to put up when I dared you to bet me and you pussed out.

This is based on a event that happened with an exchange, that has more of a corrupt focus.

If there was a way to to actually reinforce exchanges, these events wouldnt occur. But, then again you cant really stop corruption even in the highest levels if people can get bought like how we see history.

But in general, this is the only way we beat a centralized system unless you got a better plan.

Theres no victims as bitcoin as a whole, unless something terrible happens to the network that doesnt allow us to send bitcoin.

You most likely mean the people who offer legit services that end up being a ponzi, like BFL that ended up going to SEC.

But, not sure which horrible event you are referring to, since you mentioned mark, imma assume the mt.gox event. You can only reduce your risk as much as you can by level of input spreading out whatever you do invest.
