Today i asked for a loan in Neotox loans (thread), and this user Vod, came and -rep me for "Newbie asking for loan without collateral."..

I think people like Vod -rep'ing people without actually reading what they say, are abusing.
In my post, you can clearly see i have a very good collateral, and i did not just edit it now to add it. See my edit history to see that it was from the beggining.

I left you negative trust because you are a newbie asking for a loan without valid collateral.

Here is some reading material:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577765.0

You throw away accounts are always so quick to come into our clubhouse to steal from us and then scream abuse when things don't go your way.

Looks like you are familiar to this forum, you know how the trust system works, your threas structure dont suck. But why you insist giving invalid collateral for your loan if you do not have intention to scam?

In another thread you are attempting to sell your collateral.
Which means you don't care about the collateral.
Which means nothing is forcing you to repay your loan, and you probably won't (scam!)

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1021034.msg11052312#msg11052312

Vod give you negative feedback because your collateral was not valid, read this thread for more details about lending section, rules, valid collateral & guidelines

First of all, if you bothered seeing what my collateral was, you would have seen that it's not a cheap alt account i just made yesterday. It's a good account worth a lot more.

In another thread you are attempting to sell your collateral.

I was selling it just to make any btc, and if i sold it, i would have removed my loan.

What happened if you didn't sell it and someone granted your loan?

You want us to believe a newbie account would buy back something they didn't want?

You would just make a new account.

Your collateral might have worked if you were a trustworthy member of this community, but you're just on a throwaway account.   Undecided

Well you didnt even bother to read what he said before responding;
What is not considered collateral?
" Games codes or similar.  To verify the collateral you need to use the code, which destroys the collateral.  Consider this a purchase, not a loan.  (Post in Digital Goods instead)"

You cant sell this for nearly the amount you requested in a loan, and valid collateral should always be greater than amount you are asking in loan.

If you ever used steam before, you must know that transferring ownership (changing email & password) can be done multiple times, not just once, therefore it's not a game code.

You seriously believe i would have thrown a $100 worth account for $40.. Why the hell would i do that?

Because you wanted to sell it, and $40 would have been a reasonable offer for you.  The account is only worth $100 if someone was willing to pay that.

You weren't getting any offers in the 11 days you had the sale up:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1048254

About the price, it's up to you. Make me offers.

Lots of people will do that. Someone steals someones Steam account. Creates a bitcointalk account and trys to sell the stolen account. Nobody ever knows the difference until the Steam account is banned and the throwaway newbie account is never logged in again. This has happened previous before. Just because you have something that you feel is valid collateral does not mean that it is. Bitcoins are not reversable, so unless you have some other "Valid" collaterial, you should reconsider your loan.

Just because i didn't get any offers doesn't mean i will just throw it away.. The account is worth almost $500, and in steam sales the games all total at $100. It's also the only games i have. The account will be sold for at least $70 and up. If i don't get any offers, then it's simple. I'm not going to sell it.

Wait.. wait.. if the account is worth 500 dollars why do you want only 0.20 bitcoin for your loan request? This is really strange and suspicious. Again: why didn't you ask more than 0.20 bitcoin?

I appreciate your posting your point of view, but that fact is that account is not worth anywhere close to $500.  It's only worth what someone will pay for it.  $40 would have been a reasonable offer, and I believe you would simply of abandoned your throw away account and not paid back your loan.   Undecided

Have a good night, and better luck with your next account.

Why don't you read?? All the games with their normal price total up to $500. The real price which are steam accounts sold, are the total price of all games, when there's a steam sale.. Which is $158. Since i have some shit games, i lowered the price..

Nobody will buy his 'oudated' steam account with all those old games for 100 dollars.  @Glutius, it is simple ... if you cannot provide a vaild collateral for your loan request of 0.20 bitcoin no one will lend you  1 satoshi. It is a simple 'internal section rule', and a lot of users are following it.

Sometimes these guys need to vent a little and have their say.  Maybe he had a bad day?

In any case, he'll be on to his next account in no time and all this will be forgotten.  Smiley

Thing with steam accounts is that they're so easily recallable. A single message to steam support and they'd give you a way to change your password. That's why steam accounts aren't valid as collateral. Let alone that the value you quoted isn't easily to liquidate in any way. So even if you had a way to convince that you wouldn't recall your collateral back (no such way exists, I'm talking hypothetically here) in the case that you defaulted, the person that gave you the loan would have had an extremely hard time trying to sell this account to gain back what he lost from you defaulting.
