Not sure if this thread already exits but here it is. Post your favorite quotes by your favorite authors or an author you like. I would love to read some original quotes from you guys too. Here's mine;

The reason death sticks so closely to life isn't biological necessity—it's envy. Life is so beautiful that death has fallen in love with it, a jealous, possessive love that grabs at what it can. But life leaps over oblivion lightly, losing only a thing or two of no importance, and gloom is but the passing shadow of a cloud.

Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter.

"TV shits in your brain." - Some German dude I met once in Vancouver.

"All it takes for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing" - Edward Burke

That's one of my favorite quotes. It goes well with another favorite. (Although [to some people] they may seem to contradict one another.)

"The road to hell is paved with good intentions." - Saint Bernard of Clairvaux

It's not true. Some of us have great stories, pretty stories that take place at lakes with boats and friends and noodle salad. Just no one in this car. But, a lot of people, that's their story. Good times, noodle salad. What makes it so hard is not that you had it bad, but that you're that pissed that so many others had it good.
