i would either try a lower clock or test 1 board at a time buy unplugging the white cable and not plugging the pcie power in. my half working s5 pulls ~320-340 watts at the wall when clocked at 350 when hooked up to a 850 watt server psu. This way you can see if its your psu or something with the miner.

I had the same problem. ZERO temperature means that power system of hash board failed - either too high frequency or low voltage, but it can be also big trouble of ASIC broken. Do the following:

set freq to 100MHz and check if it changes anything.

1) the boards should at least try to work, so you can see either GH/s or HW errors. If so, try highest stable frequency, if the frequency is higher than 300MHz, use better PSU (lucky case). If stable frequency is lower, you can start with RMA, at least one of ASIC was overheated and is malfunctioning.

2) still zero temperature at 100MHz? You can safely RMA your boards, at least TWO ASICs are unsoldered due to critical overheat.

Reason why ASICs show ooo is because Vdd voltage (compute cores) is stringed and failed, but Vpll has different circuit, so it thinks that ASICs are running.

Looks like a cheap PSU.  Do you have any other PSU you can try to use instead of it?

That's a waste, if you had money to waste, then just buy good brand PSU.

I would try another pool as first pool. And S1 and S3 had similar problems when I changed pool/worker settings and didn't boot them.

Nailed it... many don't worry about it but many will not work without 3 pools.

Other thing is, the PSU should be at least 50Watts (80 Plus Gold) more than what is recommended, 100watts if you intend to overclock.

GigaBit, what is your opinion about 60A on 12V ? My S5 dont work on 700w PSU ( and 52.5A on 12V).
