What Does The CryptoWorld Needs Now?

Users. It needs normal people using it. Not crazy anarchist/libertarian/end the fed nut jobs. They are here already and they are a very small group (example: the Free State Project started in 2001 and only needed 20k people to sign up. They haven't met their quota in 14 years of trying lol). Figure out a way for my neighbor to need/want to use Bitcoin when he runs down to Sears to buy a new lawnmower or a set of tires. Get fast food restaurants worldwide to give a discount for Bitcoin use. Get major oil companies to retrofit gas pumps to accept Bitcoin same as cash because credit cards sometimes cost more at the pump. Make people use it every day.

Yeah the only way bitcoin will be successful is if it is adopted by the common joe and that will only happen if everywhere accepts it.

Education in developing countries. I don't think necessarily it is such a bad idea to develop a cryptocurrency of their own flavor in developing countries but if there is no mining support from the general populace then that's an issue.

Mass adoption is what it needs, but as others stated above, people don't know about Bitcoin.

Solve this riddle for the answer:

Why would a person jump through hoops (ID verify, bank transfers, etc.) to buy bitcoin so he can make purchases at a limited number of places, while now needing to keep an accounting for the IRS, when he could have already purchased those same things with the debit card in his wallet, and without the additional burden of tax record keeping?

Lol, I can't get a good answer to this, and this is exactly the argument I have with btc.  For me it's just unnecessary.  It's interesting but you are absolutely right with what you wrote.
