Alright I hope I got all of them but there are a shit ton of different wallets around. Title says all. Which bitcoin wallet do you use and why?

 Electrum for speed, Xapo for mobile.

Until now I have been using Multibit, so far so good. Lightweight and fast.

But I have been facing some issues - not really issues but features I'd like to have. Like checking balances for individual addresses, sending BTC from a specific address in wallet etc. which is currently not supported by Multibit.

Someone recommended Electrum to me and I'm seriously thinking to switch.

I'm using multibit as my primary wallet (because light weight, easy to use and sync.). coinbase for use/spent my bits when i don't havve my pc with me. And now waiting for sync. bitcoin core

Are there any advantages to using this wallet over Multibit or Electrum? I visited their website which provides no information about its features, just the download links. I can see it also supports Android and iPhone which is a good thing, but couldn't find more information.

I voted for Mycelium as it is the safest Bitcoin wallet in Google Playstore. Been using it since October last year and have no problem with it.

Bither support HD multisig and you can use your computer as cold wallet and mobile as hot wallet or vice versa. You can move transaction from one device to another for signing/pushing by using Qr-code and cam which is more better than a USB stick. You should try it.

I voted for Mycelium as it is the safest Bitcoin wallet in Google Playstore. Been using it since October last year and have no problem with it.

Safet is not the appropriate word to use there IMHO.

when I first started using bitcoin I created a wallet at blockchain.info because it is easy to set up and secure enough to trust. but later on I found out that it is not the most secure wallet that I can have so I created an electrum wallet alongside my blockchain wallet and I have most of my coins in Electrum which I use offline,.

The Main wallet I use is electrum, I have always used this as far as I can remember after learning about bitcoin wallets, it's just so simple that even a newbie can use it without having much knowledge of how bitcoin wallets work. And never bothered to learn about any other wallet till now but I did learn of CoPay wallet recently and it's still far from being even a secondary wallet.

Making a move over to Bither due to the fact it has not crashed on me once and adding the ability to import keys and wallets using multisig and also vanitygen is a nice feature to make own custom addresses too.

From my experience, i think blockchain is the best online wallet and multibit is the best desktop client.

My vote is for bitcoin core, but i understand that all the HDD is an disadvantage.

but if i need to choose another one instead of btc core i will go for multibit, easy to use and pretty good & light desktop client.

I am using Multibit right now. I can tell you it is super easy to use and yes, it is lightweight.

But there is some lack of control on individual addresses. For example you cannot check balance of individual addresses. It will only show you overall balance of the wallet.
Also, you cannot choose which address you want to send funds from. For example you have 1 BTC on one address and 1 BTC on the other and while sending funds to someone you explicitly want to send it from Address1, you can't do that.

I have heard Electrum does not have such limitations and it gives more control on addresses.

mm thats sounds interesting, electrum was the one i never try dunno why, is electrum as light as multibit? because thats one of the goo thigns i love from multibit, if yes i should try it.

btw, i didnt mention blockchain wallet, very usefull & online, for me, the best online wallet possible. ( if i need to vote for an online one ofc )

Yes, Electrum is as lightweight as Multibit because it does not store the full block chain on your PC, same as Multibit.

Another advantage of Electrum is that you can keep your wallet on an offline computer and sign transaction from it, then broadcast that transaction from an online computer. So you get best of both worlds: cold and hot storage. Ease of use combined with security.
