i am done with my own experiments  Cheesy

i have antminers and wondering how to solo mine newly launched altcoins?

do i need to put .conf file port and ip in the antminer configuration or do i need to install cgminer in computer ? dont know what i m doing so thought to get step by step advise.

honestly this was in my mind too  Cheesy but anyways i really thanks to you for such a detailed and self explanatory writeup. i tried lot of methods but there is no way i can solo mine raspberry pi / antminers over a network unless i need to hookup something physically to computer. really im thinking to do same NOMP thingy and purpose for all this exercise is to catch some ninja launched early blocks rather to wait for the pool ops to comeup and loose all those instamined blocks.

appreciate your help mate.

NB: i'll keep this thread open maybe someone out there add his/her suggestions to try
