Macsga, can you think of a possible implementation of P&F in a field other then markets?
A guy I know implemented this (that's how I heard of P&F in the first place) in roulette and made millions.
If yes, PM me!  Grin

For reasons broadly discussed here I don't believe that ANY TA is able to "predict" with certainty a chaotic system evolution beyond a very small time frame. P&F caught my eye because it has a nice "normalization" factor and a unique prediction method that "felt good". Beyond that, you should be aware that your prediction is subject to a "Whale's sudden move" that would ruin it in a split of a microsecond.

So; how does the economic prediction system works you might ask. Well there's a great theory behind this that is being discussed online with TPTB_need_war at the end of the thread I posted on the link above. It has to do with the disability of the nature to eliminate entropy. This is the Achilles Heel of Chaos, therefore, the static parameter which IF you manage to map it correctly, it may be feasible to make "certain" predictions with a high probability rate for literally any time frame.

Certain ideas have been developed by a friend of mine about the aforementioned subject and there are some nice facts on "how random, random really is". Interesting read.

FWIW, I think Martin Armstrong might be using a similar system for his "Socrates" software, but I couldn't know for sure. Roll Eyes
I am not afraid of chaos:

Me neither; I've even have it's graph as my avatar! The question still remains though... can you predict its outcome? To put it on another perspective, imagine you and I are just moments before the Big Bang. We're discussing of a possible universe that will occur from the separation of two tiny particles, one from ordinary matter and one from antimatter, for longer than they should be apart. We both agree that this could be possible.

Questions:
-Could you present a system that predicts that our universe exists or not a-priori?
-Could you present a system that maps that our universe has evolved in a specific manner now that it already exists?
-Could you form a theory that (based on data) presents a model that is actually predictable for another such occurrence?

Chaos could be a form of intelligence we cannot yet understand its complexity.

klee, are you up or down in trading since the start of this thread?
I started @September and managed to catch the big rally to 475. So I got a lot of profit there.

The other moves total profit is not impressive because I lost some money when I opened long at 285-287 before the triple bottom. I was fool to do so because there was no P&F support there and with the triple bottom at 280 I could not risk and closed position, though it bounced again at 298.

So this one mistake cost me almost everything that I gained after the 475 rally.

Hard lesson to learn. Reminded me of the old days when I was trading without solid TA plan. 1 error can counter months of efforts.

But with the 475 rally I doubled my capital invested so I have no complain. Bought at 335 sold at 470 with the 3Os reversal (long tail up reversal). I played it 'live' (did not wait HL 1d to form the pattern, as BTC is moving fast and with 1d zoom you need to play it 'live').

From the Philippines, the revolution begins:

In 2013 and 2014, I made a vow if ever I was involved in a coin, not to put my name on it. This was mostly to attempt to deflect politics and also for my personal safety against kidnapping and that sort of thing.

I have discovered that it is very difficult to gain confidence in a coin where the developers are anonymous.

Also I have discovered that my technical reputation carries some weight in this forum.

I think my original intention was w.r.t. to a coin with strong anonymity advances, and was also motivated by not wanting to be a target of TPTB. Well at this point, any such anonymity for myself is blown to smithereens and can't ever hope to get it back. I am old already at age 50. And the tail end of my career was destroyed by the Multiple Sclerosis and personal issues that exploded with losing vision in one eye in 1999. The point of saying this, is I don't have as much to lose as someone in a better situation.

Lately since I've been surviving on only leafy greens and coconut meat, I realized I could always survive even deep in the Amazon jungle or pretty much any where.

I've got one more chance to make my mark on my career. My intellect and coding abilities are still one of the best in the world (sorry but I know my abilities and this isn't bullshit ... if anyone thinks their abilities are top notch ... come on I'd love your help and competition!!).

Thus I have decided to put my name on my coin!

I will be leading this coin out in the open, which will make it much easier.

My coin will be launched without any anonymity features. That is a key point.

My anonymity designs will be offloaded to others and these can be added to the coin after the fact by others. I do not want to be held culpable for the anonymity stuff, although I will make sure all my awesome designs are passed on so they can be implemented.

My job will be to make sure this superior consensus design overtakes Bitcoin and gets spread out every where.

I will soon announce the name and make a thread for it in the Altcoin section, letting the community know it is coming.

Next we have a different plan for the community of this coin. We will not be doing the usual trolling in the forums. Instead we are going to have Wiki that anyone can make a comment to. These comments will remain in the history, but we will edit the Wiki and organize the logic so it is consumable by a person who comes to learn.

Means no censorship but we want to cut don't on the noise and focus on maximizing communication of essential information.

We'll post updates to the Altcoin forums, but we won't entertain tit'for'tat debates in the forums for our official moderated threads. Those who want can go to our Wikis. Of course any one can make an unofficial thread and go on and on and on in tirades should they wish.

P.S. just finished jogging at mid day tropical heat of the Philippines and I feel great.

The Greek army is ready too:

Why LiteCoin instead of bitcoin?
China love LTC + extra fuel from the halving resurrected hype (good news will fuel up other recent good news).

PS: Email alert sent to subscribers on BTCUSD...

EDIT: ATM the subscription is free until I have completed the new site, tools, etc. Donations appreciated. I will NOT add everyone though, I hope you understand. I will screen applicants based on my personal criteria. After all, it is essentially a free service (for the time being)...

Leveraging on LTC's low should bring you much more than doing it with BTC. Time has proven that [most of the times] it's the first to go up and the first to go down; that's why I asked klee to include it into his PnF charts. It's a good indicator (again, MOST of the times, not ALWAYS).

I think that most sells in LTC now must be shorts - can't see how all these coins being sold were bought BELOW 2.5$. So I am expecting some nice stoploss/margin call triggering if they fail to penetrate the 2.5-2.6 support.

In BTC though, sellers maybe whales who are afraid of the XT issue and just want to get out (though I think this is not the case too). I think sales in both cases are too much offensive to be normal sellers.

Anyways, price will tell us soon!

Bitcoinwisdom 6h - what will happen first?

A CLOSE at 227 is bearish (sell signal), above 231 buy.

It is based on 1box reversal chart which I am doing it manually because TradingView displays it wrong...
