Could be on us. The host we are on doesn't seem to play well with WordPress. We are looking for another host and will hopefully be moved ASAP.

Why use wordpress for a marketplace then? Surely there are other viable alternatives?

WP is what lothendriel our web designer chose to use. I don't see any reason why we shouldn't have used it.
And yes, WP is just the pretty. We don't host any wallets or other sensitive info with that site or host.

The term "colored coin" while a poorly chosen name for the protocol, simply means that the "coin" is marked in such a way that it can be easily distinguished on the blockchain by the color aware wallets that are designed to see it.
