I run GPU rigs and i don't want bent up and twisted up dusty cables, always wondering if rigs are crashing because the cables are faulty, etc. |

I run GPU rigs and i don't want bent up and twisted up dusty cables, always wondering if rigs are crashing because the cables are faulty, etc. Built and run 50+ GPU rigs and the biggest contributors to instability always are.. 1. Brand and model of video card and risers used 2. Brand and model of motherboard 3. Brand of PSU I would take used EVGA or LEPA over new ones from other companies.. |

I think that single rail does not really matter for mining. Personally the LEPA 1600's are amazing for mining. I do have 1 or 2 Corsair 1200 AXi left that I might sell...pretty sure they are single rail?

Single rail matters, you will need to balance the PSU and the rail-> port mapping is not always 1:1, saturating a rail on a PSU will cause a system-wide powerdown/crash. I will admit that it does not matter much due to low-power algorithms x11/neo/etc as compared to scrypt, but still something I would like to avoid worrying about. That being said, if you have those corsairs, what price? |
