It is just a mixing technique. The basis of everything is improving.

I may be wrong but I would assume that would mean 50% of the reward would go to a masternode right? I think anyways don't quote me on that but I think that is the way most masternodes have run in the past

DRK/Dash whatever you want to call it is just a modified version of coinjoin in the first place.  All these masternode coins are pulling the code from there so I assume the reference made by the dev to it in the original ANN is simply a reference to that.

I would still like to know what the masternode payouts are in a 24 hour period.  Anybody?  Just with staking I'm getting about 240 coins in a 24 hour period.  I have 7,787 coins staking.  Are masternodes getting more?
