Great! I sent you a little something Wink

Thank that is a lot. Smiley

Did you guy notice how fast the coin send Smiley)

We are like insta-flash.

I have noticed, awesome for trading, my deposits and withdrawals are almost instant.

Would it be possible to add PoS in a future release, I believe it would greatly increase the value of the coin.

This coin is easy to mine(if you have your own hardware) and even cheaper to buy! It definitely has the potential to go places. I too would like to see pos on this coin. I believe it would increase the value of it quite a lot! Definitely going to keep my home miners pointed at this one for a couple more days at least!

i agree, there is enough space in coin cap to install POS with maybe 1%/month long therm

Hey guys,

I just downloaded the newest wallet ( never used the old wallet before.. so i am new on this coin..) however it don't sync. So what i did was creating that .conf file, and with the .conf file the wallet dont even open and it shows an error about runtime.

So without .conf wallet don't sync, and with the .conf the wallet dont open.

Ofc i deleted all ( also the wallet.dat because i have 0 coins transfered to my pc ) any solution to this sync problem?

Edit: i also added the nodes in the console ( nothing changed, wallet do not sync )

Hey guys,

I'm closing the Grostl pool as there seems to be no interest in mining it.

Please withdraw your remaining funds if you have some on there.

Thanks

Adding PoS to an existing coin is no easy feat. I'd suggest adding Masternodes as a means to have "stake". If you need a dev capable of pulling it off in a day or two, i can link you up.

Get rid of this line in the conf file:
Code:
algo=scrypt (or groestl)

And if you're on windows, you can remove these lines too:

Code:
daemon=1
gen=0
listen=1

Unless you want to generate coins in the wallet. Then, you would change gen=0 to gen=1

Can you confirm the wallet version in the About section of the wallet and paste it here?

Also, the dev made a mistake int he OP with the nodes. There has to be an "addnode=" before each of the IPs listed. When he updated the OP IP list, he also by accident deleted the main IP which is 52.24.99.63. In addition, the main p2p port for the coin is 11621 but you don't really have to worry about that. rpcport can also be whatever you choose it to be, preferably 10000+ to make sure t does not conflict with anything.

Make sure therefore that the node IPs are added properly in the format addnode=52.24.99.63 and add this one as well. Then try again.

There are more node in OpP
I think just remove the port part and add into your conf you will be good.

If you're having trouble launching/connecting/downloading blockchain:

1. Be sure you are on latest client. There was a recent update on May 28.

2. Double check you have only one algorithm selected. The sample config from the OP contains "algo=scrypt (or groestl)". You need to choose only ONE.
If you want to mine SHA256 then remove the "algo=scrypt (or groestl)" line entirely.
If you want to mine scrypt edit the line to say:
Code:
algo=scrypt
If you want to mine groestl edit the line to say:
Code:
algo=groestl

3. Verify addnodes are setup correctly in your config file. The sample file from the OP is missing "addnode=" from the beginning of each addnode line. Edit it so it looks like this:
Code:
addnode=178.33.126.221:45287
addnode=52.7.16.188:57195
addnode=195.154.146.221:53689
addnode=98.198.26.41:56940
addnode=73.21.159.220:56600
addnode=94.214.104.41:57582
addnode=148.251.41.117:60209
addnode=76.26.82.101:53333
addnode=178.25.161.252:61394
addnode=108.61.10.90:39624
addnode=2.62.148.66:11052
addnode=5.166.112.33:45031
addnode=197.83.254.208:11621
addnode=79.103.50.145:54837
addnode=73.21.159.220:51930
addnode=2.93.190.63:52787
addnode=68.224.26.233:55180

4. Open the listening port (default: 11621) on your router or enable UPnP if your router supports it.

If you are still having trouble, please reply back with as much detail as possible including specific errors if you are receiving any.

I made a request to have it added to c-cex, but it might help if others request it too...
