How can the collateral be sent to escrow? would you cover the shipment fees?  i dont know about the price of 4s but i guess it isnt worth atleast 110% of the loan amount

I dont know how phone may be sent in escrow,because escrow may located very very far long.My location Miass,Russia,456318.Yes I can send you phone with all shipment fees,and give you track number.

So basically you dont want to use escrow? Are you willing to send first your phone to the lender before he gives you your loan?

The iPhone 4s is no longer sold by apple. The 5c is free with a contract and $450 with no contract. It should be noted that the 4s would be worth less then the 5c and the ability to sell a iPhone on the secondary market is less then certain.

Any potential lender would also need to find an escrow that will agree to hold physical goods. I don't think many escrows hold physical goods and there are probably even less escrows that would be willing to accept a package from a brand new account.

a tracking number is worthless. If you are agreeing to use your iPhone as collateral then either the lender or escrow should have the phone in hand. A tracking number could potentially be associated with an empty package.

it is so tricky do send anything from/to russia, that sending iphone from russia is not best idea in universe..
