if you have to ask that you are way out of your league even thinking of making an Altcoin. (and should not bother)

but to answer..
that would depend on what Algo (used for hashing) your coin is using.
If you created a new coin and did not just copy some other coin you should have your own Algo and make your own miner for it.

I think the better question, is that if you've managed to at least create an altcoin, how have you managed to totally miss the entire section about mining in the altcoin section on btctalk?

If you don't know about coding and mining things, you'd better get away with it. Nowadays it is difficulty to pump and dump the new created coins. Most of users learn the hard lessons.

dont listen to anyone, the only way to understand crypto is to create your altcoin, to mine it and see how things work.

but now if you are planning to monetize the coin, i dont suggest you get into that. you need a substantial dev capabilities as well as network understanding to be able to properly handle a coin. also to add that hackers wont keep your at rest and continuously ddos your platform

how did you make it? did you use coincreator.net? i think you can find some answers by just doing google search or searching here on altcoin discussions in bitcoin talk

ps: make your altcoin, create a new algo (it works like lego it's easy  Grin) then hire me to make a gpu miner, that's the way it works  Grin

You can search a tutorial on how to mine your altcoin on google!
