Speculation/investing, learning more/unsure, trading, gambling, illegal physical goods, other goods, business, or work?
all of the above Cool
but in all seriousness I am here mostly to learn more about bitcoin and get involved more with cryptocurrencies.
also I like to learn to do some trading but it seems so hard.

A mixture of all of them I should think, you could ask the same question to all of us even 2010/11 Legendary members.
I guess primarily we're all here to try & make a load of money.
That was the reason I was drawn into bitcoin any way, I mean the technology is pioneering, Satoshi is a genius but my main reason for entering the world of bitcoin is/was making money.
I think that goes for all of us, anybody that says different is probably a liar.

i am way past learning although i still learn new things every day, but still.

now i am learning to trade, i try speculating, reading and researching to try to earn some profit.

also i do a little bit of gambling some times with my bitcoins which is fun.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

I've been sold on how brilliant this technology is (or at least it's potential) and visit this place to keep up with what's going on. I'm hoping to jump aboard the gravy train. It seems I have gotten aboard but all the seats are taken, and I've been anticipating another hundred carriages are going to be added so that I can grab my seat, but I'm starting to doubt it will happen now.

I trade a little. I've found only small profits so far, but profit is profit.

I only started learning about it about a year ago.

I was mostly taken by the romantics of the Bitcoin story and wanted to get involved in whatever minor fashion I could. I feel like I spent way too much of my adult life with my eyes glued to my feet, not paying attention to the emerging technologies that may soon affect our lives in both subtle and ginormous ways.

When my friend and I decided we wanted to play our (less-than-technically-adept) part in encouraging adoption and started making promotional tees for Bitcoin, we figured Bitcointalk was the best place to learn all we could and meet the community of people we wanted to serve.
