I don't know which category it comes to post this thread.
Mods if you find it in wrong thread please move it to proper thread.

I use to upload tinypic.com to post my pics for any clarification, doubt, proof, errors.........................
Also have seen other members using some other services to post pictures mostly & video some times.

Why Bitcoin forum users don't have a storage place here(in this forum) or some other place which is owned/rented by Bitcoin members, to put their pictures & video to use in forums?

Many times, free picture & video storing sites, don't work or delete pictures.
Most people know the megaupload case & also imageshack not showing pictures in many part of this world.

A storing place owned/rented by Bitcoin, will help greatly for forum members to store their pictures & videos & don't have to worry whether it will display or not to other members.

Also, it will reduce the bandwidth it takes to use this Bitcoin forum, as pictures & videos don't have be downloaded from other site to view here.
I am not sure about this bandwidth thing.
Please share your thoughts if its wrong.

If Bitcoin can generate money, then it also can generate space for members to store.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I dont think thats a good idea because of copyright scumbags.

A pic and video hosting service for btc would be better on another domain.

Exactly. It will also require a lot of storage, if everyone on bitcointalk.org uses it.

Another domain is also good.
I don't want to depend on some other network or service to use Bitcoin related things, especially when using this forum.

First off don't use tinypic, use http://imgur.com it much better!

Basically if you can get a descent amount of space, like terabytes, there are ways to reduce bandwidth and stuff like that. I think the problem would be finding a VPS that takes bitcoins and has a huge amount of space, I have yet to see one that is viable.
