Cross post from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1072256.0The website I'm working on is at TheFutureWasYesterday.org the explanation and motivation for this is explained in the linked post above. What household items would you most likely purchase for Bitcoin over the net? All feedback appreciated!

i would buy everything you would need in daily life. you have not such an option to vote for. it's easy to buy tech / digital stuff. the real challenge is daily needs for bitcoin in the world.

if i had 20,000 bitcoins. exchange all of the for fiat. transfer them to my country : tax is only 15% of gains. and enjoy a sweet life. $1,000,000 = MUR 35,000,000 at actual rate.

Hmmmmm, you mean like socks, nail polish, paper plates, bookmarks, post it notes, toilet paper, trash bags, ziploc bags, toothpaste, mouthwash, coffee filters. If there are specifics you would buy I'd love to get those and add them to the site this week I'm trying to consider shipping costs, ie shipping a 12pk of toilet paper will cost more than the toilet paper; especially overseas shipping.

I didn't saw this option on the poll, so I am commenting.
I would love to buy some real estate on New York with my Bitcoin. I love Yankees so wouldn't hurt to live in the bronx. It would be a dream come true with BTC.

I voted for the 4 I liked but the fact is one needs to trust the company selling this stuff and also the price+shipping cost needs to be minimal for anyone to consider buy any household stuff from an online retailer. This is why I think it will only be used by mostly the local people.
If a company is trusted and their price are better from the local retailers I would prefer to buy any household stuff from it.

Probably because of my bad english but there is some things that I didn't understand . However I'd like to use my Bitcoins to buy Fast food from (McDonald , Dominos pizza , pizza hut etc ..) we don't even have those shops here for cash , so it's just a dream I guess .

That is nice to know. But what does that actually have to do with what the OP asked?

Since I didn't see it mentioned and you dedicated a thread to it.
Ink Toner, Insulation and stuff that I would not usually find in a local store top my list such as Blacksmith tools or handmade tools. Local Art from where you are would fit into that list as well since that would invlove unique items Or specialty goods they sell in your area that seem to be of good quality as well as Unique Board Games that aren't in many stores (Novelty items)

i might buy stuff that are used daily at home like cleaning supplies and stuff like that if the price was competitive. maybe with some discount.
but mostly i prefer buying digital goods with bitcoin. for instance i bought Dota2 international 2015 compendium a while back with bitcoin.

Id prefer anything with daily neccesities such as toothbrush , soap and shampoo for what I will spend the most because this will make my life much simpler . Another thing will be electronic such as alienware laptop, Samsung HD TV and iphone perhaps. But most thing can be purchase with money instead of bitcoin as well. Does there is a thing that only can be purchase with bitcoin?

Only one question come into my mind, if I were spending my Bitcoin, do I need to wait for a confirmation after sending the payment so that I can take away the good I buy, and it usually take several minutes?

If I had some, I would probably buy electronics like phones, tablets, laptops and so on. If I had a lot then I would buy a car and house. Since I don't have almost any all that will be a dream for now.

Basically everything. I don't really care what I use it for, as long as I cam use it for something! And keeping it in btc without using a third party converter is great!
