Another ico, another new dev account, another self-moderated topic, another potential scam. I am not the dev of TWELVE. The original self moderated topic can be found here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1072807.0

Twelve is a fast and secure cryptocurrency based on a brand new hashing algorithm,
never used by any other coin before.
T-INSIDE is our fresh mining algo based on 12 different hashing functions.
Since do not exist any other coin that used such algorithm before, mining distribution for the initial phase
will be widely decentralised, cause no pools could be set up.
Also, there won't be any mining rent website ready to rent petahashes
and monopolise the coin's mining since first minutes of life, due to our brand new hashing algo.

Twelve team aim to give alt coins a new boost of fresh air with something new in the scene.
T-INSIDE is only the start of this long journey and roadmap is full of tasks and objectives to reach, together!

Coin Name: Twelve
Coin Ticker: TWLV
Hashing Algo: T-INSIDE
Block Maturity: 60
Transactions Min Confirm: 4
Diff retarget: each block
Min stake age: 4 hours
Max stake age unlimited

PoS interest rate yearly: 3%

PoW Block Rewards:

Block 1 = ICO premine
Blocks 2 - 100 = 0 TWLV
Blocks 101 - 40000 (27 days) = 1 TWLV (Why? Read below *)
Blocks 40001 - 60000 = 10 TWLV

After block height 60k blockchain will not accept anymore PoW blocks.
We set 27 days of 1 coin reward mining for two main reasons: first to avoid coin's supply overflood in the early period of mining, an already seen bad practice that makes ICO investment a trap.
Second because we must take on consideration the event of some users that can be able to build a GPU miner before our team or our community could release it.
If this would happen, the "attacker" could use such big amount of hash to monopolise all the blocks for himself having an enormous hashrate compared to in-wallet mining.
A low supply as scheduled will ensure a minimum margin of risk in that event.
We consider a reasonable timeframe 27 days of in-wallet decentralized solo mining to spread coin's mining in a fair way.

DPOS block rewards:

Blocks 7200 - 8640 = 2.5 TWLV
Blocks 8641 - 10080 = 5 TWLV
Blocks 10081 - 11520 = 7.5 TWLV
Blocks 11521 - 12960 = 50 TWLV

How to mine at launch if no GPU or CPU miner is available?

You can mine TWELVE with a simple command from the wallet console.

Please follow these instructions:

- Open wallet and click on help;

- Open Debug Window;

- Once in Debug Window click on "Console" tab;

- When you are on Console tab just type
Code:
setgenerate true -1
  you can set the number of thread to use changing the
Code:
-1
parameter according to your CPU threads.

Why do we ask for ICO?

An ICO, Initial Coin Offering, allows a new developers team to tap into a wide pool of potential investors to provide itself with capital for future growth, repayment of debt, or working capital.
A company selling on ICO is never required to repay the capital to its public investors. Those investors must endure the unpredictable nature of the open market to price and trade their ICO coins. After the ICO, when coins trade freely in the open market, money passes between public investors. For early private investors who choose to sell shares as part of the ICO process, the ICO represents an opportunity to monetize their investment. After the ICO, once coins trade in the open market, investors holding large blocks of shares can either sell those shares piecemeal in the open market, or hold to see further development and growth potential in the project.
This type of offering is not dilutive or inflational, since no new coins are being created.

How are you going to invest ICO funds?

You can see that Twelve starts with a different new hashing algorithm, thing that requested us many and many hours of testing, coding and debugging. Our main priority is to make TWELVE ecosystem grow rapidly but strongly with usability boosters, such shops acceptance and anonymous marketplace , and continuous marketing and markets pressure to increase interest of newcomers and new investors.
For this reason ICO funds will be reserved in fractions divided as follow:

- Coin's infrastructure maintenance and upgrades;

- Research and development for new anonymous payment system;

- Marketing and promotional events;

- Research and development for Mining software dedicated to T-INSIDE algo;

- Launch and maintenance of anonymous marketplace embedded in wallet.

Why should I invest if there is also PoW mining?

PoW mining is live for the first month at super low reward to avoid the malicious event of some user that build a GPU miner privately and use its huge hash (compared to cpu in wallet mining) to monopolise the blocks mining.
We set this kind of reward to don't inflate the coin supply at early period and avoid investors sadness possible due to big miners dump of the price after launch. It's understandable how is annoying for an early bird investor to buy in and then see the price of his investment hugely drop because of bad-scheduled block reward for early pow mining.
Another incentive for early bird investors is high DPOS rewards present in the first 5 / 10 days. Having a good bunch of coins from ICO investment will provide you a considerably higher chance of catch some high reward DPOS blocks.
