Laptops are horrible for mining.  Look into asic miners.

With asic miners over in hardware you will be able to actually mine.   If you use laptop overtime it could hurt it with high intensity.  Not to mention the laptop will mine at a loss.

cgminer will only mine dedicated fpga and asic sha256 bitcoin hardware

Use guiminer if you want mining with your laptop cpu/gpu.
